Unexpected

Chapter One

I get out the shower not really ready to face the day. But I breath and suck it up. Luckily my mom hasn't been here in a while so it's been calm. It's common for her to leave for days at a time.

  "AMAYA HURRY UP ALL THE STORES WILL CLOSE !", my brother,Hunter yells, from down the stairs. He's the oldest , 20 years old. I'm just 17 years old. He always protects me from everything. Even from our own mother.

"Comingg !", I yell back. We're going shopping for the ball tomorrow night. I throw on some clothes putting my mother's red studded necklace . Even after everything she's done, I still find some piece of love for her. I throw my hair into a bun and run down the stairs. I jump on Hunters back as we walk out the door. Our pack, Blue Moon, isn't the best we struggle here a lot but there's still decent clothes. We try not to leave our pack grounds because those dumb vampires are always out for blood. Pun intended.

"So what happens if we find our mates ?", I ask Hunter as we walk through the stores. He sighs deeply patting my hair.

"You will over to his pack and won't be able to come back.", He says sadly. I hug him from behind tear sliding down my face.

"But I don't want to leave you Hunter.", He looks at me through his shoulders. He smiles at my wiping the tear.

"Well hopefully my mate will be in whatever pack your's is in.". I smile holding onto that hope that it will happen.

"You ever found it weird that we can smell our mates like what the fuck is that !", I say laughing. He just shakes his head as we walk into the store. I hop off his back feeling getting into my zone. I walk around the whole store grabbing everything I like. I go into the fitting room but nothing seems to like me. So I just walk around grabbing accessories I like. I go looking for Hunter seeing girls drooling over him. I jump on his back kissing his check.

"Back off you horny bitches.", bitches is actually what we are, buttt I meant it in the most offensive way possible! They all roll their eyes walking away popping there no-butts out. "Why must you let these little toads talk to you. We have to save yourself for our mates." I get off shoving him a little.

"I can't help it if i'm too hot to trot." , he says doing a pose perking out his lip. "But anyways find anything you like."

"Nah, just this hat,choker, bracelets, rings, heels and glasses.".

"Yeah that's definitely  nothing you like.," he starts laughing grabs my stuff and pays for it. He buys his stuff and we walk back home. I'm super bubbly about the chance to finally get out of here crappy pack. When we get home a shiver goes down my spin.
'Be careful my love. She is not herself.', my wolf, Arctic, warns me. I go upstairs dropping my bags taking off my shoes. I turn around and she is there.

"So what did you get sweetie ?", My mother asks in a weird sweet tone. I move back scared not sure of what she's doing.

"Just some s-s-stuff f-or the mating b-ball.",I say in a small voice. She moves closer her eyes changing from dark brown to green. Her wolf is trying to take control as she walks standing over me.

"So you want to find your mate do you now. Do you ?", Her eyes turning fully black, now her wolf has taken over. I gulp trying to calm down.

" You dumb fucking bitch, you want a MATE ! DO YOU KNOW WHAT THEY DO TO YOU. THEY WILL LEAVE YOU. DRIVE YOU CRAZY AND MAD. THEY'LL BE STUPID. THEN THE WILL LEAVE !", she yells in her wolf voice. We're omegas but God she terrifying. She shoves me to the ground at full force slamming face into the heels I just bought . My brothers runs is trying to yank her off but fails. I yelp in pain as it hits right under my eye but that doesn't stop her. Hunter is doing the best he could as my vision blurs up. She starts kicking me over and over again in the gut.
