" They hate to see you in the foreign. The miss when you was in the 'Yota, kicking doors."

" Girl let's be realistic. There is a 15% percent chance he gone pickup from the thousands of fans he has " I laughed. She ignored me and continued to try and call again.
I had Durk on live on my phone while she was still trying to get him to answer her facetime. She wasn't paying me no mind at all! I got up to go and get something to eat and brung her back some cause I know she wasn't going to get up anytime soon. Still watching him I heard him say he was going to pick one more fan to talk to.
"This nigga need to hurry up and pick up we got stuff to get done" I said and like clockwork THE LIL DURK answered. I slide on next to her like I just made it to home base. We both squealed.
" OMG" she said. He chuckled and was like, " Wassuh ma". It wasn't like these wannabe guys that spend they're whole check on some weed. Nah, this was a whole different type. But, I'm gone chill cause I know Makaveli don't play that.
I got off live and started recording them.
" Hello, yo" he said again but, this time giving her his individual attention.
" This shit here crazzzyyy" she said cheesing from ear to ear. " OMG I love you" he chuckles again and responds with a "I Love You Too". We both looked at each other surprised. I gave her the hand signal to continue the convo while I was still recording. We looked lost for words and I just wanted to bust out laughing.
" I had DM you" finally came out her mouth.
" Hold on bae" His phone kept vibrating while another surprised look was exchanged. We waited awhile until he looked back at the camera. " Ion be checking my DM's like that". Furthermore, they started talking about his album which I knew nothing about but I was happy for my girl. Lol, she even showed him her drawings of him on her wall.
I low-key zoned out but snapped out of my thoughts when I heard a loud thud. I looked up and Makaveli gave the same questionable face as me. We both moved slowly out of the room. I peeped 'Veli had a gun in her hand already and I see Ma head poking out the corner with a pistol in her hand also. Ever heard of no lacking?
Jeffrey came out the cut rushing towards the door.
" We all gone meet at the main trap" a voice that sounded like Tommy said through his phone
" Aight Bet" and with that he left.
I was relived it wasn't no one in here like we thought and the noise was probably just Jeff's extraness but still clueless as to what was going on.

I walked in the room where Tommy was sitting in front of the bill counter stacking them up and banding them. He's probably the only "boss" that works himself just a hard as everyone and don't put himself above no one. Respect!
" Wassuh G" dapping him up and running up the money I had. He looked calmer than usual.
It was quiet for a bit then he turned towards me. I was still running up my stuff ignoring him cause he does this often. It was getting annoying just a tad bit so I had to asking.
" What"
" What typa name is Nemo. Like who the hell thought of that" I busted out laughing because I could tell this was irritating him for a while.
"Childhood nickname" he was still looking with an blank expression so I continued.
" Whenever I went out with the fam I always ended up wandering off" I shrugged and then did he give a satisfied expression.
He looked at me for a while then started dying. No gay stuff but he has a nice smile. Nah, take that back that sounded suspect as hell.
He continued talking about our past , our parents and what not which gave me a deeper insight on why he acts the way he does. Can't judge him. We were done counting our stuff up. Just talking now.
"...I think we was in like, down the ramp. It was around like 9—probably like 9-12 and I was out with some other kids. And the front door was just open. You know, everybody's doors be open in the summertime. There were some grownups, a few grownups, and there these kids in there too. Some guy ran in the house and blew another dude brains out and ran out of the house. And we just hear screaming, and some lady just told us all to go home, you know, go back to our houses. And I was kind of excited to share I'd seen something, not really focusing on how sad the shit is, or how bad it is. That was growing up for me, and then I had this shit, like my mom, she was a crack addict and shit like that, so seeing her struggle with that."
" Damn" I said shaking my head. Chicago really be with the shits. I thought the West side down here was on the savage stuff but I guess not. Not the brag or nothing cause, it's really nothing to glorify but, you would think we was some reckless dudes the way they be talking over here.
My phone rung interrupting the stories. I felt like a little kid the way I got frustrated.
I looked at the caller ID and seen it was one of the workers.
" ....." Whenever I pick up the phone I wait for them to say wassuh first. Its just a petty habit.
" NEMO! KFHKDHK" and that's exactly what I heard. I put it on speaker so I could make out the words he was saying.
" ALL THE STUFF! I DON'T KNOW! THEY'RE GONE!" I was confused for a second then realized she was talking about the house cross town. I looked at Tommy and he already taking the banded money out of the room ready to put them away.
" Alright hold it down. I'm gone be there in a minute"
" BET" and with that I hung up and called my brother Jeff up.
I put the racks I had up to stash and headed out. I knew something was up. Things were going smoothly. A little too smoothly.
