"Do you want a glass of water or something?" Oh my god I can't believe it's him. I can feel his eyes on me as I fumble around the kitchen trying to fill the boiler with water and get out a teabag and overall just not look at him.
"Yes please kitten," I feel shivers race up my spine when he calls me that, I grab him a glass and fill it with ice and fresh water from the fridge.
I give him the glass, but before I can turn away he grabs my arm taking me back into his chest.
"Not so fast babe, we need to talk, come on and sit up on the counter while I make you a mug of hot tea okay?" I nod my head and hop up on the counter. Alex begins talking to me.
"I felt it when I was nine. I'd see you outside with your cute little braids, and you'd wave to me and you'd be so happy to see me, I couldn't help but feel the same way. I didn't know what I felt then, but I do now." I open my mouth to talk to him but he turns and gives me a pointed look.
"Baby it's a long story just sit tight," I nod my head again. Looking at him while he continues.
"I wanted to keep you happy, so whenever you were sad I'd leave you little chocolates that I'd stolen from my mothers shelf in the kitchen. Then, you told me that a magic prince left them for you, because you were a princess. I smiled along, and let you believe that because I liked hearing how happy it made you." He pours the boiling water into my favorite mug and drops in a chai tea bag,
"When I was ten I heard you for the first time cry out on your balcony. For what you were crying I don't know but my mother came into my room and saw me sitting on my balcony staring at you as you bawled. She made me promise to protect you, because your parents wouldn't do it for you. She knew Amelia. I don't know how but she knew I loved you." I feel a tear slide down my eye thinking about that. I'd cried so many times on my balcony so my parents wouldn't hear me. So they wouldn't tell me I was childish and stupid, and yell at me for being a little girl.
"When I was fourteen I had finally worked up the balls to ask you out. I went to see your brothers and ask them if they were okay with it, but when I found them they were already seething mad. Matt had asked you out, and the boys hated him. I didn't know until I'd already asked if they'd be cool with me asking you out, and when I found out, I was heartbroken. I'd taken our friendship for granted and let you get with some pervy psycho of a boyfriend." He rested his head in his palms.
"If I'd been stronger for you Ames, you never would've gone through what you did. And I'm sorry for that, when I apologized last weeks it wasn't pity, I truly meant it." He handed me my mug of tea, and when he looked at me he immediately reached for my face. He wiped the tears from under my eyes and held my face in his warm comforting hands.
"I love you too you know, I have since I was six and you caught me falling out of that tree. You were always my knight in shining armor I just thought you didn't think of me like that,"
I've always loved Alexander, my brothers always teased me for it, but they never told me they knew Alex liked me too.
Alex leaned into me and begin kissing my neck and jaw, his warm mouth leaving little kisses all over.
"I guess we'll have to make up for lost time then," I can feel his grin on my skin as I sigh out in pleasure.
He nipped the soft skin under my ear, and it made me breathless. He trailed kisses across my jaw and nipped at my bottom lip. I immediately pushed closer to him. He settled, standing between my legs while I slid closer to the edge of the counter.
He and I pushed our mouths together languidly. Both of us trying to pull the other closer, while releasing breaths only to be inhaled by the other.
His scent around me was toxic, and his thick arms wrapped around my waist heated me to no end. He bit my lip and I opened my mouth to him letting him in to dance with my tongue.
I wrapped my arms around his neck, and he pulled me closer to him and I wrapped my legs around his waist. He separated out mouths and placed more kisses on my neck and collarbone. When suddenly he whisked me off the counter and I tightened my grip on him more. He walked us to the couch, and sat down with me on his lap.
"You are so fucking beautiful," Alex murmurs against my skin, he settles his hands on my butt and I shimmy off my cardigan. I yank on his shirt and he pulls it off freely while I run my hands up and down his rock hard stomach.
"Shall we take this upstairs?" I ask as he smirks and stands up with me wrapped around him again. He begins making his way up the stairs and I decide to tease him a little.
I begin kissing softly on his jaw and neck, finding the soft spot on his neck that makes him stop and almost growl out at me.
"Kitten you don't know what your getting yourself into," I feel his hardness pressing against me and rub over it a little.
"I think I do," he practically jumps the last two stairs, and opens my door and shuts it behind us.
"Mmm we have all night to find out baby,"Oh man just you guys wait next chapter is going to be the next morning bc they are not doing the hanky panky just yet. Sorry to disappoint ;)
