"I missed you." someone whispered in my ear. I knew the voice, Jake. This can't end well.

"I missed you too. How have you been?" I asked quietly, hoping Harry wouldn't notice.

"I've been good. I got my first internship that I'm actually getting paid for. Straight A's in all my classes." he boasted.

"Well, sounds like you haven't changed much." I giggled.

"Oh no. I've changed a bit actually. I've turned into a total party animal. Which reminds me, I'm going to one this Friday. You want to go with? I'd love to show off my superstar best friend to all my college buds."

"I don't think that's such a good idea."

"Why not?"

Why not is a good question. If I say, Harry will get mad, he'll think I'm letting my boyfriend take over my life. But let's be real here. Going to a party without Harry, with Jake, is clearly a bad idea.

"Can I bring Harry?" He looked back at me, baffled.

"Uh, yeah I guess."

"Cool, I'll run it by him." He nodded and we remained silent for a minute, neither of us knowing what to say. I looked back at Harry in the kitchen with my cousin. They were both sitting on the counter laughing at something. I smiled as Harry caught a glimpse of me. Soon enough, here they both come strolling our way.

"Hey babe." Harry said, pecking my cheek.

"And that's my cue to leave." Jake said, picking up his jacket and walking out the door.

"Bye!" I yelled, him shutting the door before saying anything.

"What was that?" Harry asked.

"We were just catching up. Hey, he's going to a party on Friday and invited us. Want to go?"

"Um, no not really."

"Why not?"

"I don't really like the guy, much less want to go to a party with him."

"Oh come on. It could be fun! Do you really want to spend Friday night in with my parents?"

He remained silent for a second, before sighing in defeat.

"Fine, but if it's lame we're leaving." he said, heading towards the stairs.

"Yes sir." I said, following him. Well this will be interesting.

*Friday*

I stood in front of the mirror, eyeing my outfit. I've never been to a college party before, especially one in the US. Sure I've been to after parties that were probably much wilder than this party could ever be, but like Jake said, he wanted to show me off to his college buddies, and me being me, I want to make a good first impression.

"Do you think this looks okay?" I said, looking at Harry in the mirror. He sat on the edge of the bed, watching my every move. I was wearing a maroon tank top with a leather jacket over it, skinny jeans and black heels.

"You look fine." he said, sounding bored. I can't blame him. We've been stuck up at my parent's house for 3 days, and going to this party is not something he's interested in. He's being a real trooper though. I walked over and pecked him on the lips before grabbing my bag and walking out the door.

It took us about 30 minutes to get to the frat house where the party was being held. Even from inside the car I could see and hear how wild it was. Music was blaring, and there were college students with red cups scattered everywhere. Harry came over and opened my door, wrapping my arm around his.
