Chapter 4: HARDCORE SEX (misleading)

(Shane POV)

I wake to see that Joey is still sleeping. I check the clock. It’s only 8am. Why the fuck am I awake? What I do know is, is that I can’t fall back asleep. I go to my new room. I need to make it look like I slept on here. Roughing up the bed isn’t convincing. I’ll just make it and say i made my bed. I hit the power button on my computer and hear the sound. Maybe I should edit some old videos for today. I really don’t feel like making a new one. Finally, someones awake, I hear footsteps coming toward the room. It’s Sawyer.

Sawyer: Dude, what the hell are you doing up so early?

Shane: I don’t even know. Couldn’t sleep I guess.

Sawyer: Yeah. I’d get that if you just broke up with her.

He walks away and back to his room I assume. I feel guilty about the whole breakup. I should really try to talk her into to being friends still. I leave Joey and Sawyer a note on the counter.

Went to talk to Lisa. I just want her to still be my friend. Be back later.

Shane.

(Joey POV)

I look at my alarm clock, 11am. I notice Shane got up. Well good. Sawyer wouldn’t find out. I walk into the kitchen and read the note. He better not be lying and get back together. I had dreams about that before. It isn’t pleasant.

Sawyer: Hey, I’m gonna go to the gym, wanna come with?

Joey: Uh sure! I’ll be down in a minute.

I get dressed and head to the gym with Sawyer.

(Shane POV)

I pull up to the apartment. I use my key to get in assuming Lisa won’t let me in.

Shane: Hey…

Lisa: What do you want…

Shane: Like I said before, I want to talk about it and still be friends.

Lisa: I thought you just trying to be nice.

Shane: That and I’ve known you so long. I’d miss talking to you and hanging out with you.

Lisa: I guess I kinda feel the same way…

I hug Lisa. I knew she would accept this awkward apology thing.

Lisa: Thanks Shane…

Shane: Anytime. I have to go. Joey will be wondering why it’s taking so long.

Lisa: Joey does seem like the jealous type.

She jokes about him and we laugh. I say my goodbyes and walk out to my car to go home.

(Joey POV)

I left early and Sawyer stayed at the gym. I head up to my room and get in the shower. Suddenly someone gets in with me.

Joey: You scared the shit out of me. I thought you were a killer!

He laughs and I feel my embarrassment. It’s kinda weird showering together but hey.

Shane: So why do you smell?

Joey: Shut up! I’m showering aren’t I? Anyway, I just went to the gym with Sawyer.

Shane: Oh alright.

Joey: How did things go with Lisa?

Shane: Better than I thought. I moving back in and getting back together!

Joey: WHAT!

Shane: I’M KIDDING!

Joey: Don’t do that to me! I would have started crying!

Sawyer: What the fuck?

Joey: Uhhh-

Sawyer: Nope. Didn’t wish I heard you two talking. LALALALALALA.

Shane: Oops?

Joey: It’s fine… He’ll understand. I hope.

Shane and I get out and get dressed.

Sawyer: So are you two-

Shane: We’re secretly together, yeah.

Joey: Are you freaked out too much? I can move out if you find it too weird…

Sawyer: No it’s fine. I just wish you would tell me these things. Also, if you’re going to you know… Let me know so I can not be home…

My cheeks turn bright red. Shane chuckles. I don’t, which makes it awkward.

Shane: We should go out to eat for lunch.

Joey: Sawyer, wanna come?

Sawyer: Nah, I gotta shoot a video with Tyler.

Shane: Ooh, it will be our first date then!

Joey: Oh my gawd. I’m so excited!

Shane: Where do you wanna go?

Joey: We could go to your favorite restaurant if you want.

Shane: Sure, you sure you wanna go there?

Joey: Yeah. I’ll go do my hair.

Shane: Me too.

We both head upstairs to OUR bathroom and start doing our hair.
