In the gif for the last chapter I intended to post a picture of what I imagined Jonas to look like, but I completely forgot and inserted a picture I thought fit into what was going on in that chapter...oops.

I imagine Jonas to be played by Dylan O'brein, which, I know, basic fan girl, but I just thought it fit well. Anyways enjoy this chapter. And don't forget to Vote so that I know that you are enjoying this story.

"By making it look like you've betrayed everyone you care about," Jonas said worriedly.

Bethany's mouth opened and closed, her face becoming furious as she ran out of the room at full speed, nearly tripping on the stairs from lack of experience.

When she got to the main room, she saw Doug sitting on the couch with his feet on the autemen. She grabbed his shirt and threw him against a wall, causing several body guards who had been standing to the side, to run forward, grabbing her arms and shoulders.

Their grips were tight enough to keep the blonde firmly in place, probably leaving a bruise of two, but she didn't care as she continued struggling against their grip to attack the man.

"Who the hell do you think you are? Betray the people who care about me? They're all I've got. They're all I've had for fifteen years!" She continued to struggle against the men while Douglas stood up.

He causally brought his hand up to his face, running it across his lip only to look down and see blood.

Jonas' footsteps echoed down the stairs until he came to an abrupt stop when he saw the scene in from of him.

His father ignored him, smirking at Bethany, he stepping forward and connecting his fist with her Cheek.

"We're what you have now," he kicked her stomach, the men holding her in place so she didn't fall. "Those people are nothing to you anymore." He gripped her neck, the guards letting go of her as Douglas backed her into a wall, her head colliding with it. "Because if you do anything," he gripped tighter, causing her to gasp for air, "and I mean anything, if I find out about it, you won't have to worry about them anymore, because they'll all be dead. Including your little boyfriend."

He looked her dead in the eye as she gripped his arm, weakly trying to remove it from her neck.

"You don't talk back to me, because, when you do, this is what is going to happen. You may be a freak like your brother, but you will never be able to get rid of me."

He let go, Bethany falling to the ground in the process, her arms barely catching her. She coughed a couple times before he stepped towards Jonas, who cautiously stepped back.

"Clean her up," he said angrily before stomping to his own room.

Two weeks later...

"Night, Joe," Captain Singh said tiredly, pulling his bag over his shoulder.

Joe only nodded his head in acknowledgment as he flipped through several files and then began to type on his keyboard, which caused the Captain to look at him sympathetically.

"You really need to go home. You look exhausted and you've been working overtime for the past week." He waited for Joe to say something, but he never did. "Joe?"
