Chapter 47

FANNY’S POV

“Oh, hey Harry,” I turn around and try to smile as normal as possible.  “Where’s your date?”

“I don’t have one. Turns out, one of the Patil’s twin already taken and the others go with Ron,” said Harry.

“Oh, I’m sorry,” I said.

“You look beautiful by the way,” Harry smiled.

“Thank’s,” I feel my cheeks blushed.

“Oh they you are Mr. Potter, I’ve been looking for you. The champions will start dancing in 5 minutes,” said Professor McGonagall suddenly appers from nowhere and suddenly go away again.

“Dancing?” I raised my eyebrow.

“Yeah, apparently it’s one of the stupid tradition,” said Harry.

“You better find a girl as fast as you can, you can’t dance alone in front of all those people,” I said and plan to back to my room because I’m not really in the mood to talk to Harry right now.

“Fanny, will you like to dance with me?” asked Harry.

“What?” I’m in shocked right now. Part of me was happy that he asked me even though it’s just something that he should do but the other part of me is angry because he thinks me as a last choice.

“Don’t worry, it’s not a date, that will be more ackward considering that we’re just friends,” smiled Harry.

And now my heart shuttering again. “Just friends ha?” I still not turn around look at him.

“Yeah, you and me, just friend. You want to help your friend right?” Harry asked.

“Of course Harry, I always happy to help,” I held back my tears and look at him. “ Let’s have some dance.”  I take his hand and we’re going to the other champions.

Cedric and Cho are standing in front of us.

“Hey Fanny, Hey Harry,” Cho smiled at us. “I don’t know you two are dating.”

“No we’re not, it’s only for this dance,” I said coldly.

“Fanny are you ok?” asked Harry. “You don’t look as usual.”

“Yeah, I’ll never feel better than right now,” I fake a smile and try to hold back the tears. C’mon Fanny, you’re strong girl. It’s just a stupid crush.  Then we start to walk to the dancefloor.

I was so zoned out so I don’t know what happened.

“Fanny, take my hand,” said Harry.

“What?” I asked

“Now,” said Harry and we start to dance.

I know this dance means nothing to him, but it’s mean everything to me, it’s something that I’ve been waiting for even if it just this one dance and maybe it’s just about 3 minutes but I’m really happy about it. Sometimes you just have to enjoy the moment that you feel right now.

When the dance is over, we walk over to Ron, who apparently just sitting with Padma.

“Hey,” I smiled at them.

“Hey Fanny,” said Padma. “Are you going to ask me to dance?” asked Padma to Ron.

“No,” said Ron and Padma walks away from him.

“Really Ron?” I raised my eyebrow to him. “And Harry if you’re going to stare Cho all night, you better just ask her to dance just once, I’m sure Cedric wouldn’t mind.” Crap, why did I said that
