when he and his mom got home, he ran right into his room and slammed his door angrily. he flopped down onto his bed and he wanted to scream into his pillow, but he didn't because a part of him thinks he shouldn't be this angry over something stupid. he always went through this at his old school, why is this particular time affecting him so badly? he thought about texting taehyung to apologize from shouting at him, in actions, but he just threw his phone at the wall, not cracking it one bit because he has a screen protector on it. he loves his phone to death, but sometimes he needs something hard to throw and that something always happens to be his phone. he then heard his phone go off, so he picked it off the floor and saw that taehyung had texted him.
taehyung: hey, my friends said not to text you but i didn't listen
taehyung: wait that sounded bad, i meant that they said to leave you alone and let you cool off but i wanted to see how you're doing
jungkook: i'm fine.
taehyung: are you mad..?
jungkook: yeah, but whatever, i shouldn't be
taehyung: why? you have every right to be mad
jungkook: i know but this always happened at my old school and i got used to it but this time is actually affecting me so i shouldn't be mad but whatever
taehyung: i'm sorry jungkook, my friends aren't jerks
jungkook: are you sure? by the looks they were giving me i sure think the fuck not
taehyung: jungkook chill out they were just surprised no need to get all bitchy
jungkook: this is exactly why i keep to myself and don't speak.
jungkook sighed angrily, and shut his phone, starting to ignore taehyung's incoming texts. maybe he's overreacting? he just feels hurt that those people, taehyungs best friend, gave him those looks and made him feel unwelcome. he doesn't know why he's taking this so seriously, maybe the crazy thats "in him"-like everyone used to say that he was mentally crazy- was coming out. but taehyung was right, they were just surprised and he was not going to lie, he was getting slightly annoyed at how personal jungkook is taking this, but he is sure that he'll be over it tomorrow.

it was the next morning, and jungkook decided he wanted to dress nicely today, and he wanted to wear an outfit that was one of his followers favorites, a black and red knitted sweater with a black scarf, black joggers-like with white medium squares on the top left pant, and nice black shoes. he also decided to part his hair differently, but he didn't think the brown went nice with the outfit. he wanted to dye his hair again, but it was too late because he had to go to school, but then he thought that he could just miss the first hour of school or something so he could dye his hair. he's been wanting to dye his hair for a long time, and he finally found a legit reason to do it. he was going to tell his mom that he would need more time, but he then realized he woke up earlier than usual today so he had quite some time to get ready. he put on an ugly shirt and pants and blasted music in his bathroom as he was getting the dye mixed.
his mom suddenly started banging on jungkooks bedroom door, jump scaring jungkook but he walked over to his room door and unlocked it with dye on his hands.
"jungkook, what are you doing?" his mom asked and he pointed to the obvious, walking back to his bathroom. "i need to drive you to school early because i got a new job a few nights ago so i need to get to my shift this morning." his mom said impatiently. jungkook just kept putting the dye in his hair, and his mom sighed and walked away. jungkook soon finished putting dye on his head, since he has short hair. he sat on his bed and went on his phone. he was starting to text taehyung, only to see that he was typing too.
taehyung: do you want to hang out with us again today?
jungkook: sorry for last night
jungkook: but yeah i'll come
taehyung: it's fine, don't worry about it
taehyung: okay cool.

"bye jungkook, have a good day!" his mom smiled as jungkook got out of the car. he immediately wanted to find taehyung, a part of him really wanted to see him. he loved looking at taehyungs face. maybe not love, love is a strong word. but he really liked looking at his face. and hearing his voice.
he spotted him quickly, seeing him sit at a bench alone with earbuds in. jungkook frowned, seeing that the boy looks quite sad. jungkook walked up to the boy and stood in front of him. taehyung looked up, and smiled when he was jungkook. he pulled out his earbuds and stood up. "hi." he smiled and jungkook nodded, smiling at the boy. "i'm uh, i'm sorry again for my friends acting they were they were just surprised." jungkook smiled, and texted taehyung telling him that its fine. "do you want to sit with us at lunch?" taehyung asked, and jungkook nodded. he followed taehyung across the school campus, to taehyungs friends. they were all gathered at a tree, sitting on the grass on their phones. jungkook sighed, hoping that they like him.
namjoon looked up from his phone, and smiled when he saw the two boys walking towards them. he stood up, and so did the rest of the boys. "hi taehyung, hi jungkook!" jimin chirped, holding onto his boyfriends arm.
"hi." taehyung said, and jungkook smiled. "uh jungkook, we're really sorry about yesterday. we didn't mean to hurt your feelings, we were just surprised." namjoon apologized. jungkook sighed and nodded, accepting their apology. hoseok smiled warmly, and walked over to jungkook. "how old are you? you look young." jungkook took out his phone and typed '17'. he flashed his phone in hoseok's face, and he grinned. he pulled jungkook in an unexpected hug and started squealing, "awww! a little baby!" he grinned while he rocked the younger. taehyung giggled, covering his smirk with his hands. jungkook chuckled, hugging hoseok. once hoseok let go, all the boys wanted to hug jungkook, since he's the baby. his age may be baby like, but he sure does not act or look like a baby.
jimin was the baby, since he was a few months younger than taehyung,but now jungkook is, even though jimin never acted baby like, he was just very adorable and cute. taehyung was childish, he acted different and his personality was different. a lot of people at the school wouldn't think to be the other boys friends because of how different he acts, but they all get along very well and they do have similarities. namjoon was cool, he looked cool, but sometimes cute. yoongi was most of the time quiet, but when he wasn't quiet his remarks would either be funny sassy or just plain out amazing. everyone loved him, and he said whatever came to mind. hoseok was very energetic and would always be screaming or laughing or running around or dancing. hes a very funny person. jin was the oldest, and the boys would call him the mother of the group since he always took care of the boys and looked after them well.
jungkook followed them into the school after the bell rang for school to start, and taehyung and him went to their first class.
