it's been a week, and the boy is finally returning to school. he stayed in his room all week and avoided physical contact with him mom or any of the boys. jungkook woke up earlier than usual, so he could get ready quickly and so he could walk to his school just to avoid his mom. after he got dressed, he walked to a bathroom and his eyes widened once he looked at his face. there was a huge black and blue bruise across his right cheek, and there were deep cut marks. he didn't know bruises could form that quickly, and he certainly had no idea where those cut marks came from. he sighed, knowing taehyung and the boys would notice and ask a billion of questions. he was thinking about putting on makeup, but since he was walking to school he figured he had no time. he fixed up his hair and brushed his teeth then quickly walked through his house to get to school.
once he arrived at school, he saw taehyung run up to him and his face was full of shock.
"jungkook! what happened to you?!" he panicked. he brushed his fingers lightly across the bruise and jungkook winced in pain, moving his head away. he bit his lip, and taehyung grabbed onto the youngers wrist and pulled him as they walked.
he brought him to the boys, and jin screamed when he saw jungkook's condition. he jumped off the ledge he was sitting on and ran up to the black haired boy and cupped his face. his thumb was pressing onto the bruise, and jin was oblivious to that, until a tear went down jungkook's face. he let go of the boy and pulled him into a tight hug, and rubbed his back soothingly.
"whoever did this to you is an idiot." jin whispered, and he felt jungkook nod with his statement. he let go of jungkook, and he used his sleeve to wipe the tears off of the youngers face.
"i'll kill whoever did this to you." yoongi grumbled quietly. jungkook heard him though, and he looked over jins shoulder at the boy. there was a look of anger plastered onto the boys face, and that took the younger by surprise. the older then stood up and walked over to jungkook and hugged him, and whispered something into his ear. "i will beat their asses." the youngers eyes widened, noticing the anger in his tone.

"are you sure you're okay kookie?" taehyung asked the boy as they walked down the empty hallway. they are skipping study hall, and they're just walking around, talking together. well,taehyung is talking.
jungkook nodded, and taehyung sighed. suddenly the orange boy stopped walking, and took jungkook's wrist and held onto them loosely.
"jungkook," he started. he took in a deep breath."i really hate seeing you in this condition. if you could tell me what happened, i'd appreciate that." jungkook bit his lip, and pulled out his phone.
"my mom hit me." he sent to taehyung. the older read it in his mind and his face immediately dropped, and he covered his mouth with his hand. "i'm so sorry kookie." the younger felt his eyes getting teary, and he fell into the older's arms and softly cried. "i won't let her hurt you again jungkookie, i promise."
