Zada and I sat down in my car quietly. Stuck in traffic we hav where to go. Wer had so much to talk about but wer didn't feel like sharing. I personally knew Jackson was a deranged psychopath but I didn't know he was involved in a gang. It was the was the obvious conclusion I came too after hearing his brief "when you fucked with me" speach.

I sighed letting my elbow slip off the arm rest on my driver's side door. My mind was somewhere else, the traffic and the silence did that to me. I just couldn't stop thinking about what happened to me, then what happened to Zoey. If I had stayed away from the dickhead this would have never happened.

Finally the traffic in front of is began to move and with that the silence broke.

"Zana. We are in trouble, I feel it."

I nodded sighing in agreement. "Yeah. I feel it too."

I looked over to her hut her face was blank but with a sense of longing as she looked onto the sky's horizon. Zada was lost also, her mind is further away from where mine, that's how I could tell she was worried.

"You know what, this would have never happened if I did go out with that psycho. It's all my fault."

Zada was silent but then she snapped out of her trance and reached for my hand that was on the gear stick. Giving an intense look of pity she tries to reason with me.

"No, Zana, you cannot blame yourself. He is the one with the problem. He attacked your bestfriend. His a maniac. All you did was give him the revenge he deserved."

Tears began streaming down my eyes as I looked Zada in the eyes. Mostly because of the the staring and no blinking, but partly because I knew she was right and that the side of her J hadn't seen in awhile.

I brushed the tear that was on my cheek, "Yeah yeah, you-r, your right."

She smiled and sat back into her seat taking her eyes back onto the road. With the traffic cleared we were on fast and open road all the way to Zoey's house.

* * *

"Did he really say that?" Zoey asked while staring at us intently.

I nodded biting my lips, eyes wide open. I was scared out of my depth but I was never going to admit it. I had to stay strong for my girls.

"Zana, maybe you could talk to Clay, he could tell yo uh a thing or too about his brother."

Zada had a point. Clay cared more about me than his stupid brother, he'd probably help me. I might just have to leave out the part about me kidnapping and torturing his brother. Can't tell him about that just yet. If he presses then well. . . . I guess I'd have to tell him.

I took out my phone to text Clay.

Z: Hey you. I need to talk to you

C: Sure, when where?

Z: The mall, 30 minutes

C: Yeah, I'll be there

I looked up from my phone and found Zoey and Zana intently staring at me. I rolled my eyes leaning on a side.

Zada opened her eyes in curiosity, "So?" Zada asked not able to take anymore silence from me.

"He said he'll be there," I said doing slight hand gestures to show my annoyance at the start struck behavior.

Both of them smiled like goofy idiots because of there dirty minds they both possessed. Well, I knew what they were thinking , so does that mean I possessed a dirty mind too? Yep. I may be a virgin, but I'm no prude.
