Short Chapter
"Where are you taking me Clay?" I ask really tired of the suspense.
Clay refused to open his mouth, and kept his eyes glued to the road ignoring my plees. He was really good at that. Maybe that's why he made such a good gansta. He was probably a bit man for the English mob.
I on the other had, the suspense was starting to strangle me. Death was approaching, well, of an anxiety attack induced by the suspense.
I had woken up this morning, the day after Jackson had came to my house to lay more bad news on me. And had just received a call from Clay telling me to get dressed, nicely I may add. And come downstairs. He arrived shortly after and took me away from my house right under my mom's nose. Now I had no idea where we were heading and why we were not heading to school.
I nagged and have been nagging for the past half hour but I hadn't gotten anything out of him. I had checked my watch. It was about 7:00, I hadn't realized it was so early in the morning.
Why the hell did he drag me out of bed this early?
After a minute or two of more pleeding the car finally came to a stop in a parking garage of some sort. He turned off the engine then turned to me with a huge lopsided grin.
"We've arrived, happy now?" he asks his voice kind of husky because of the early morning.
I leaned over and gave him a peck on his lips, "Much!"
Quickly I unbuckled my seatbelt passing my hand through my hair then opened my passenger door. Clay quickly did the same trying to stop me from going anywhere to fast.
"Zana! Wait slow down," he called after me.
He ran up behind me encasing my body and puting his hands around me taking both my arms and setting them by my side. He leaned in from the back and nibbled on my neck just a little which immediately printed me to stop in my tracks.
"O-okay Clay," I say trying to shrug him off before he made me moan.
He laughed so sensually against my neck I nearly maned. He laughed again as he guided me in the direction what looked like an elevator.
Where a were we going?
We walked over to the elevator, I reached out to press the button. I liked pressing buttons. The door open almost immediately and Clay printed me to step in it. I obeyed and stepped in with him still close by.
I turned around to face the door then got a look at the buttons inside the elevator. They looked like they were gold entrusted, the light in the elevator bounced them and they shimmered beautifully.
Clay reached out and pressed a button with no name on it. I wondered where that led, and why he was so quiet? I sarting to seriously consider if he was going to murder me. Stupid, I know but the silence was driving me insane.
After what seemed like ages the elevator doors finaly opened but not to what I was expecting. My breathe caught and my heart stoppped beating for moments at a time. It was just to beautiful for words.
"Clay? What is this?" I ask walking slowly out of the elevator my mouth hung open over my chin.
I could feel his amusement behind me, agigtated that he tricked me, made me nag him, and get mild panic attacks. All of that was to bring me here.
"It's so worth it! To see the look on your beauitful face," he chuckles happily.
I was barely paying attention to his laughter, I was to busy staring at the biggest terris I'd ever sceen in my life, and it was decorated with streamers and jews. There was huge swiming pool to the left of the terris .The view was absolutely breathtaking, literaly, I couldn't say anything at all. I was at a complete loss for words.
Something overtook me and I turned around and bunched him in the arm as hard as I could!
"I hate you so much Clay!" I scream then immediately thereafter jumped into his arms throwing him onto the floor.
We layed there laughing our asses off and it was sure as hell felt good to be laying on top of his toned body, feeling his muscular body under mine. It was kind of dirty but, who cares. I had him all to myslef. Giselle's probaly crying now.
"Come on Zana, Let's have breakfast then we'll drive to school."
We sat down in the middle of the terris in front of a table then a waiter came up with large trays of food and set it in front of us. We ate and talked, he told me he wanted to do something nice for me before my birthday. He didn't want to draw to much attention to us. Not just yet anyways. What were we doing? We hadn't labbled the relationship at all, we were just behaving like a couple, but were we?
Maybe that's why he brough me here, some grand romantic gesture before he popped the question. He could aford to give a girl lavish things, maybe that's why Giselle liked to hang around. Fucking golddigger. .
I looked down at my watch, it was about ten minutes to eight, Clay was about ready to go so was I, but sad to leave the amazing view behind. I watched the water reflect the beautiful sunlight coming from the sky, a smile appeared on my face.
Clay stood up from his seat and then he came to me and offered his hand for me to take. I did and I was about to stand, but the look on his face promted me to keep steeting. He had that look on his face the day he kissed. Passion . . . . like a burning fire, piercing my eyes and going straight into my soal.
"Clay?" I ask wanting him to say something, anything.
"Shsh Zana, I need to ask you something," he says puting his finger on my lips.
I conveyed my understanding and he continued to speak.
"To be perfectly honest Zana, your the first girl that I have ever considered that for," he says looking into the distance then into my eyes and back into the distance again. "I really like you and I want to make you happy, if you let a bloak like me in."
I leaned in, titlting my head upward meating his lips. "Of course," I say softly.
He smiled, "Zana Marcarthy, will do me the pleasure of being my girl," he says trying and failing to mimic and american accent.
I chuckled lightlhy and warpped my hand hands around his neck, "I thought you'd never ask," I say grinning then I kissed him again.
He chuckled and then suddenly scopped me up and lifted me up in hands and spun me around. He placed me down on my feet near the edge of the terris so we could watch the sun rise higher in the sky together.
As we did we stole glances at one another, with a smile plastered on our infatuatwed faces. I was happy really happy, and who knows I could be in love. . . . . . .
