Beloved Niall,

I hope this letter makes it to you, I began writing it as soon as I entered the stagecoach. I'm aware you've heard this a million times, but I really miss you.

Life at the house has been dull. Although, Lilian came by and asked where you were and if she could see you.

In case you have forgotten, shes the woman a couple blocks down who had made a harlot of herself when meeting you.

I told her you were away, you had moved to another country (Kenya) with another woman (Josephine) and had a blooming career (a rice farmer with huge plantains).

I hope that will be the rest of her, as I've never been too fond of her. I know you have to marry soon, but preferably not to that scoundrel.

The news is quite dull as well, no murders or scandals. The new park that had opened last year, the one on the same lot as Oakdale actually, has flourished with its new set of funds from the government.

I wish to take you there sometimes, once you're on your break. They're implementing a new fountain and a garden this spring, something that would be even more wondrous  with you.

How has Oakdale been for you? I presume they're treating you fairly, if not then I shall have a chat with them.

Is the food nourishing? Your bed comfortable? Please ask about visitations, I would love to see you again.

With the letter, I have sent an orange quilt for you. I know its your favorite color, hopefully it can liven up your living quarters.

All the love,

H xx

P.S. Once the blanket is in your hands, unfold it. Another surprise awaits you.

~*~

Dearest Harry,

Thank you so much for the gifts. I loved the blanket, and the chocolate. You have always known me best.

I had slept with the blanket last night, it was very soft and your scent lingered. I dreamt of home and your joyous smile.

I had forgotten about Lilian until you mentioned her, don't worry, she wasn't my taste. She was too floral, pink and sweet; I prefer dark blue, barbeque and timber.

A woman who tasted so would be a real find, I never seem to have luck with the women.

Ill just have to make do and put you in a dress. I'm sure you could play the part.

To answer your previous questions, Oakdale has been unique. Our tour guide, Florence, has become a mighty good friend of mine.

My job is a janitor, not my preferred job but if it makes money then ill take it. My senior janitor, Avery, is an older woman who I think I rubbed the wrong way.

Shes very adapted to the work load, but doesn't seem to be the hardest of workers. I hope to make a good future impression on her.

Florence is fond of her. I'm only needed to clean upstairs, and it has been easy so far. The staff is very clean and courteous, hardly any litter to pick up.
