---- Chapter 9----

Mido and Jo went to Jo's house to check for any camping sasaengs. When they got htere the driveway was littered with trash but no one was on sight.

"Thanks for the lift Mido, I'll just call Baek and tell him that the house is clear"

"Are you sure you want me to leave?" asked Mido

"Yeah, I'll be fine. Thanks Again"

"Bye"

"Bye"

Jo unlocked the door and went in. "Hi Jo how's your health? How are you? Are you fine? I've heard from a friend of yours that you're often stressed"

"What?!What are you doing here? I missed you a lot but... Why did you come without telling me?"

----Meanwhile in SM ent building-------

"Annyeong!" greeted the three members. "What happened to Tao?" asked Chanyeol who saw Tao with a bandage around his foot. "He did one of his stunts and got hurt in the process" asnwered Suho.

"Why did the manager need us?" asked D.O "Yeah Suho, you haven't told us why the Manager is looking for us" said Xiumin. "Okay...the truth is, I'm the one who wants us all to meet" said Suho."Since we seldom use the dorms here, our time with each other lessened, and I think as a group we should spend more time with each other besides rehearsals and other schedules"

"EXO's gramps is at it again" Baekhyun mumbled.

"Suho's right" agreed Kris.

"Picasso agrees" whispered Chanyeol."Thanks hyung, we couldn't have a better leader"

"Huh? What's happening?" asked a sleepy Kai. "Really Kai? You slept over Suho's wonderful words?" said Chen "Why are you so tired anyway? We had our day off today"

"I was asked to teach some dance moves to a trainee, manager said she'll debut soon" answered Kai.

"Ahhh..." said the rest of EXO. "What now?" asked Lay 

"Hey guys, who wants bubble tea?" asked Sehun. "Really? Again?" complained Luhan

"That sound like a great idea! Suho will pay!" said Chen. "Eh?" complained Suho "(sigh) Fine"

"To the bubble tea shop!" yelled Chanyeol. On their way to the shop Baekhyun's phone rang. He checked his phone and read a message.

"Oppa, The house is clear, you can go home straight here. Btw, my mom's with me...that's all, stay safe" - Jo

----Back to Jo----

"I came here for a surprise visit!" said Jo's mom. "I brought food by the way"

"Eomma, how did you get past all those sasaengs?" Jo asked her.

"Oh that? They thought I was a maid and hasn't even noticed me" answered her mother.

"Oh..okay then, to answer your question I'm fine as always" Jo said while tidying some stuff. Jo then led her mom to their living room. "Sit, I'll make coffee" said Jo, while she headed for the kitchen and her mother followed her.

"Where's Baekhyun? Is he working?" asked her mom

"Yes, their manager called them...by the way...How's Zelo?" asked Jo

"Why the sudden interest on someone you used to like?"

"Wha--- We're friends aren't we?And I saw him yesterday"

"Really?"

"Yeah, Daehyun visited a friend of mine and he tagged along"

"Oh..."

Jo finished making two cups of coffee, she gave one to her mom and the one to herself.

"So..." Jo started "How's Zelo? My friend?"

"I wouldn't say that you two are friends" said her mom

"Why?"

"Well, you hurt him, a lot"

"Hurt him? in what way? Is it because I chose Baekhyun over him?" said Jo

"Not only that but you broke a promise that the two of you made"

"Look, I wouldn't have left him if he...put ME first before his job"

"Well, you did promise to wait for him"

"Maybe 2 years was a long wait and the fact that he wasn't there for me when I needed him"

"You should have understood him then, I mean, he wants his job so bad"

"I was hurt too Mom! All the rumors that spread! I didn't know if they were true or not! I'm not strong..."

"Fine...fine, and Baekhyun was there for you instead? I just wish he keeps that promise"

"What?"

"Nothing"

"Anyway..." Jo stood up looking stressed. "Are you going to stay tonight? Because the guest room is a mess and I can't let you sleep in a messy room"

Her mom stood up when Jo started coughing and coughing, soon she was coughing out blood

"JO?! WHAT'S HAPPENING? ARE YOU ALRIGHT?"

Jo coughed out more blood enough to cover her whole hand and fainted within a few seconds
