Don't Go

---- Chapter 10----

"Hello?"

"Hello , Baekhyun? You need to come here right now, Jo's in the ER"

"WHAT?! Why?! What hospital?....I'll be right there" Baekhyun placed his phone in his pocket and stood up.

"Are you alright? you look pale, who was that?" asked Suho

"Who's at the hospital?" asked Kyungsoo. 

"It was Mido, Jo was rushed to the ER" replied Baekhyun."Guys I need to go."

"I'm coming with you" said Chanyeol. "Let's go"

Chanyeol and Baekhyun left in a hurry and went to the hospital.

When they reached the ER they saw Mido pacing back and forth."Mido!" called Chanyeol who was follwed by Baekhyun. "Where?" asked Bakehyun.

"She's in there" Mido pointed at the room behind her. Baekhyun ran to the door and pushed it open, the two following him. 

"What took you so long?" complained Mido while going inside the room. Baekhyun rushed to Jo's side, not noticing her mom who was seated beside her.

"Where were you?! Why weren't you with her?! What if I wasn't there? What would happen then?!huh?" Jo's mom stood up and looked down on Baekhyun, her face full of anger and worry. Mido tried to calm her down. "It was my fault, I was the one who left her by myself, I really am sorry"

Jo's mom looked at Mido for a long time, opened her mouth as if to say something but didn't continue. "I'm sorry!" Mido apologized again with a bow.

"And you are?" asked Jo's mom. Mido looked confused but answered anyway "I'm a friend of Jo."

"I'm so so so sorry, I was at the office" apologized Baekhyun. 

"Office?! You already know that she's in a fragile state and still you leave her all alone, by herself!" Jo's mom was shaking with anger. "I just HOPE you REMEMBER and KEEP your promise"

"I...I will" Baekhyun said."BUT...I can STILL take care of her! PLEASE!"

"W..what..." Jo's eyes opened half way. "What happened?"

"JO!" her husband sat beside her and cupped her cheek. "Are you alright? Your eomma's here"

Her mom rushed to her side. "Eomma's here, don't worry"

"Eomma? What happened?" asked Jo, half awake. "You fainted while we were talking"  answered her mom.

"How about Baek-"

"I'm here, I'm here" Baekhyun said while patting her head. Jo's mom's phone rang and she answered it.

"Byun Baekhyun, I'll give you another chance, one more and that's it, I'm needed somewhere." 

"Yes, yes I understand" answered Baekhyun.Jo's mom collected her things, said goodbye to her daughter and left.

"I thought I hear Mido and Chanyeol's voice a while ago...are they here too?" asked Jo while sitting up. "Oh..." Baekhyun looked behind him but none of the two could be seen. "I think they're outside" sighed Baekhyun "What a weird couple they'd make".

Silence filled the room for a minute, but was broken when Baekhyun spoke.

"I'm sorry"

"For what?"

"For not being there when you needed me"

"Oh, that? I can take care of myself. You told me to be responsible and I will"

"I take that back then, Just call me if you need me, I'll be there no matter what" Both of their hands are together, the two of them staring into each other's eyes. Jo opened her arms, inviting Baek to hug her. Instead of hugging her, he leaned close to her leaving only an inch of space between their faces. "Really? You just want a hug?"

"Huh" Jo managed to say.

The door behind them creaked.

"I said..." This time, Baekhyun leaned closer. "Do you really just want to hug?"

Breaking the moment, someone from behind the door shouted

"Ahhh!!! Sehun! cover your innocent eyes!!!"

The door swung open and down came the 10 other members of EXO.
