Don't Go

----Chapter 19----

Ever since the dating rumor between Zelo and Jo scattered, Zelo seldom visited Jo. As time goes by the rumor between them fades away as Baekhyun and Angeli's relationship becomes popular to the public, some of them saying that the two of them were a really nice couple. Pictures if the couple were everywhere for everyone to see, including a very depressed Jo.

5 months went by and she's still moving on. She thought it would be easy because Zelo was beside her but with the dating rumor that spread before, she wasn't able to spend a lot of time with her friend. Will she always be like this? Lonely, with no one to talk to besides her mom? Even if Zelo did visit her from time to time, Jo felt empty. She slowly forgot what it felt to love someone.

Zelo on the other hand didn't really care if the rumors spread, in fact he was almost happy when there was a rumor between them, the only thing that kept him from visiting Jo is the fear that some of his fans might hurt her, which had already happened back then. He asked his manager if it was alright for him to pursue Jo, to his surprise, his manager even encouraged him to do it. His manager might have noticed Zelo get quite sadder ever day and had decided to allow him what he wants to do,  after all ,it might affect his actions. 

"Hey Zelo, do you have any plans this week?" Youngjae asked him as they fixed their things from their practice. "We have the week off and we were planning to hang out, want to come with us?"

"Sorry hyung but I have plans...maybe next time?" Zelo said as he wore his bag on his back. 

"Oh...okay then, Do you mind telling me what you have planned for the week?" their leader, Yongguk, suddenly came from behind them when he heard their conversation. "Is it really important? I mean, we're a family! We should some quality time together."

Zelo nodded but couldn't agree with his hyung. "Yeah, but we always see each other every day because of our busy schedules and because of that...." Zelo hesitated for a moment, thinking if it's alright to say these things in front of them, he pushed the thought away and continued, they were a family after all. "because of that, I wasn't able to spend more time with the ones I love..."

At this point the members slowly gathered around their maknae.

"What is this I hear about love?" Daehyun teasingly said to Zelo.

"Who is she?" Jong Up asked.

"Wow, Junhong, You didn't tell us you have girlfriend!" exclaimed Youngjae.

"I don't have one!" Zelo yelled.

"Yet!" added Yongguk

The group was having fun teasing their maknae and asked further about the girl he likes, as for Zelo, he kept answering his hyungs even if he was so embarrased. He kept his head down the whole time.

"So! What are you planning to do then? Confess to her this week?" asked Youngjae. Zelo nodded, his head still down and his face becoming red.

"Hahaha, our baby Zelo all grown up! Just ask your hyungs if you need help" Yongguk said as he patted Zelo on the back. They talked for a few minutes before going to their respective homes.

Zelo had the idea to surprise and visit Jo this week since she doesn't know that they had a week off. He thought of making up for all the things that he had done to hurt her before, as for the rumor thing, he decided that he can deal with it and trusted Jo that she can take care of herself when he wasn't around, so he decided to confess to her too, for the second time. He actually had this plan for a month now but didn't have the time and courage to take his plan to action. When their manager told them about the break, he decided to do it.

Tomorrow came and Zelo set out his house to go to Jo's. He was excited and nervous at the same time, he planned this week out carefully, but that didn't make him calm. He rode a cab to their house, normally, he would go outside wearing his hood up with sunglasses and a mask to keep his identity but this time, he chose to dress up and look good for Jo, he also thought of asking her mom if he can stay there for the whole week. He assumed that her mom would agree that's why he already had his bag full of his clothes for him to wear for the week.

Before going to Jo's house, he asked the driver to stop by a bakery. He picked up the cake that he ordered yesterday. Since his face wasn't hidden, people started to notice him. A crowd started forming as he walked to the cab, he also noticed that there were people with cameras following him. He hurriedly went in the cab and told the driver to go. When they started moving Zelo looked at the window at the back, curious if anyone followed their car. so far, no one was behind them, he adjusted himself to sit comfortably and placed the cake in a more safe place.

It only took them 20 minutes to reach Jo's house. Zelo paid the driver and off went the cab, he had his bag on his back and the cake in his hands, he rang the doorbell and waited for someone to open the door. He didn't wait that long and was invited inside by Jo's mom.

"Hi Zelo! Nice seeing you here!" Jo's mom greeted. Zelo hugged her as a greeting and asked her if he could stay here for the week. Jo's mom agreed and told him that Jo was in her room. He thanked her and went up to Jo's room.

Every step Zelo took, his heart beat went faster. he finally reached the room and knocked.

"Yes?" called out the voice from inside.

"It's me" I answered back. I took a step back as she opened the door to her room. When I saw that the door was fully opened and that Jo was standing in front of me I stretched out my hands and offered her the cake. "Tadaaa"

"What's this?" She asked as she accepted the box. She opened it half way and peeked in the box. Her mouth formed a big smile as she noticed what was inside the box. "Is there an occasion? and why are you dressed so nicely today?" 

"Oh nothing, I just thought of spending the week with the most important friend that I have" Zelo said with a cute smile. Jo blushed at what he said and tip toed to give him a peck in the cheek. "Awww, thanks buddy" She said as she went out of her room."I'll just put this in the fridge okay? Just put down your bag, I'll be back" She went down leaving a very stunned Zelo alone.

His eyes were still wide with shock as he held his cheek that Jo kissed. "This...is start of a nice day" Zelo thought to himself. He woke up from his dazed self and went to the room in where he stays when he's staying there. He opened the door, threw the bag on the floor and slumped down on the bed. He let out a loud and happy sigh when Jo went in the room without him noticing.

"Miss your bed huh?" She said as she sat on the bed. "It IS comfty...I don't blame yah"

From Zelo's point of view, he can only see Jo's long hair, since he wanted to see her face he pulled her arm towards him which made Jo fall backwards. Now the two of them were lying down facing each other. 

 "Wha...What was that about?!" Jo complained, still facing Zelo. 

"I just wanted to see your face, is that bad?" Zelo answered with a smile. Jo's face went pink and has decided to stand up. "Oh...uh...haha thanks?"

"I'm sorry if I made you uneasy..." Zelo said as he also sat up. "It just that...I missed you a lot" He stood up and hugged Jo from the back.

"Do you think I didn't?" Jo said as she held Zelo's hands that was around her waist. 

"Which is why..." Zelo let go of Jo and turned her around so that they were facing each other. "I'm staying for the whole week!" 

Jo couldn't believe what he just said, she always wanted time for the two of them to hang out. She suddenly felt tears go down her face, this was the first time she cried for months.

"Wha...Why are you crying?!" Zelo wiped Jo's tears away with his thumbs and placed his palms on her cheeks, squishing her face. "Don't cry!!! You don't look cute when you cry"

Jo giggled and took Zelo's away from her face. She looked like she was laughing but more tears came out and the laughing turned to crying. Jo hugged Zelo, her arms around his neck and her face buried in his chest. Zelo was a bit surprised but remembered the things he saw on the news. Pictures of Baekhyun and his new wife were everywhere, it must have hurt Jo a lot seeing the person she loved, happy with another woman. That was another reason why Zelo decided to stay there, he knew that Jo felt lonely and depressed.

Zelo hugged Jo and rubbed her back gently. "It's okay, Just let it out, I'm here"
