Don't Go

----Chapter 14----

A week has past since the day Baekhyun, Chanyeol and Mido last saw Jo.

Jo woke up and immediately looked for Baekhyun. She looked to her left, then to her right, only to be greeted by the blank white wall. She sat up and adjusted her position. She looked at the table beside her took her phone and looked at the time and date

"What?! It's been a week already? Where's Baekhyun? and Mido? Chanyeol? Where is everyone?" thought Jo. She also thought of calling Baekhyun but his number wasn't in her phone anymore. She checked her inbox, call logs, and she still can't find it. Since she memorized his number she tried calling it, only to be answered by a voice of a lady saying that that number was no longer available.

Jo started to panic.

She looked at the table by her side again and noticed a folder placed on top of some papers. She took the folder and browsed through it.

"What are these?"

She took one paper that got her attention and read it.

Her heart dropped and tears started forming on her eyes.

"Divorce papers?"

She was still staring at the paper when she heard the door creak open. She immediately looked up 

"Baekhyun? is that you?"

"It's just me..."

"Junhong...."

"I'm sorry"

HEADLINES: EXO'S BYUN BAEKHYUN MARRIED TO COMPANY OWNER/CEO ANGELI KIM

Hundreds of reporters and photographers were gathering around the "couple" asking them questions and taking pictures. Angeli was trying her best to look good for the camera while Baekhyun on the other hand, had his facemask, sunglasses and cap on and was looking down the whole time they were walking to the building in where the two of them stay in.

 Baekhyun got a message from their manager. "You don't look like a happy couple, please try your best". He placed the phone back to his pocket, removed his face mask and kissed Angeli on the cheek giving the cameras and the manager what they want. The crowd became noisier then the doors closed behind the couple.

"Your manager texted you didn't he?" Angeli asked Baekhyun as soon as they got in the elevator.

"Yup..."

"Look...I'm trying my best...for my family and the business, you should try too...It's not like I like the situation right now"

The elevator doors opened and they went in their own separate rooms.

The day before Mido left for Japan was a chance for Chanyeol to convince Mido to stay.

They went out for lunch, walked around the park, watched a movie, the regular things you do when you're in a date...except for the fact that it wasn't one. Sadly, Mido made up her mind and still chose to go back to Japan and have her comeback there as an idol.

As if things can't get worse for Chanyeol, their manager called and said that they already had plans for someone to pair him up with.

The next day, Chanyeol with their manager, accompanied Mido to the airport.

"I...I don't understand...." Jo managed to say

"I'm so so sorry Jo...it...it was your mother." Zelo went near to Jo and sat beside her. "Here"

He gave Jo a newspaper with the headline : 

 "EXO'S BYUN BAEKHYUN MARRIED TO COMPANY OWNER/CEO ANGELI KIM"

"This isn't possible...Baekhyun is still married to me...They need my signature right?" Jo threw the newspaper away along with the papers. Tears started falling from her eyes. "All they need is my signature right?So..."

Zelo hugged her. "I'm so so sorry"

Jo looked at the divorce paper on the floor...the place where she would sign has already been filled.

"That was just a copy...the real one was already sent"

Jo hugged Zelo back and blacked out
