Don't Go

----Chapter 18----

NEWS: ZELO FOUND TALKING WITH A GIRL...COULD IT ONLY BE A FAN? OR IS IT HIS SECRET GIRLFRIEND?

"Okay, what is this?" Mido was reading the newspaper when she came across the article. "People these days...She's only seen with him this one time and they're already saying they are dating?! pshhh" Mido was in her dressing room getting ready to shoot a CF when she read the article. 

"Do you know her?" asked the girl who was fixing her hair. 

"Yup"

"Is she a friend of yours?" 

"I don't know...we were but I don't know if I'm allowed to talk to her anymore...see, we were friends but something happened..." Mido folded the newspaper and placed it on the table in front of her. "First he calls me and now this? Aish...I don't want to get so gloomy...It might affect my performance"

"Oh...sorry miss..." the hairdresser apologized. When the girl was done fixing Mido's hair, Mido thanked her and went to the set on where she'll be shooting the CF. While she was walking to the set, she overheard a voice.

"What are the press up to now? I mean...look at the article!!!" 

She reached the corner and saw Chanyeol talking on the phone and was leaning on the wall. Mido went and leaned next to Chanyeol. When Chanyeol saw Mido. immediately hanged up and placed the phone in his pocket.

"So...have you seen the article?" 

Mido replied with a nod.

"Have you talked to her about it?"

"Are you serious? How can I talk to her?" Mido walked and stood in front of Chanyeol. "Anyway, let;s change the topic, I can't deal with this right now..."

"Oh, alright then...What brings you here?" 

"Well..." started Mido "I have to shoot a CF..."

"Me too! What is the CF for?" Chanyeol was now excited just because of this

"It's for a coffee brand I think? or...I don't know a coffee shop?" Mido shrugged.

Chanyeol may be excited but this didn't stop him from noticing Mido's mood, she's not herself today and something is bothering her for sure. "Did anything happen?"

"What?" Mido looked at Chanyeol and realized what he meant "Oh, nothing..." She started walking away but Chanyeol was able to grab her hand. "Is this all about the article thing?"

Mido shook her head.

"Angeli! Do you know her?!" Baekhyun was standing, waiting for an explanation. Here he was, trying to give Angeli a chance but then he sees her with the one responsible for drugging Jo, what was he supposed to think?

 "Apparently..." Angeli stood up from the couch and stood beside Baekhyun. "She's the one who drugged Jo...she came here to come clean and apologize" Angeli was a very good lier, her words smoothly came out of her mouth as if she speaks the truth. She gave Alicia a look that only the two of them could understand. "Well?" continued Angeli "He's here now, you have something to say right?"

Alicia nodded and placed her hands behind her back, acting sorry.

"Mr. Byun...I'm...I'm sorry for what ...I did to Jo, I admit that I was the one who did it. Me. I was overcome with jealousy..." Alicia's eyes were now full with tears, every word that came out of her mouth was forced and not a single one was true. "I...I lost my control and did what was wrong...I am very TRULY sorry" after finishing her apology she knelt down and cried.

"I admire your bravery, but know that your actions won't be taken for granted. I don't have the right to decide what will happen to you, Baekhyun's in charge of that" Angeli placed her hand on Baekhyun's shoulder, waiting for his response.

"Why...would you do such a thing? You know that it's wrong but you did it anyway..." Baekhyun's anger rose but quickly receded. "I will think about this...but...leave your phone here"

Angeli's eyes widened and so did Alicia's. That phone has all their conversations, their plans, all of it. If Baekhyun gets a hold of it everything will be over in just a snap. 

"But....I need my phone" Alicia answered.

"No...it is the only way that I'll know that you'll not run away..." Baekhyun reached out his hand. 

Alicia reached in her pocket and took out her phone, she then went to Baekhyun and hesitantly placed it on his hand.

"Thank you, you can leave now" Baekhyun opened the door and Alicia left, not a single glance at Angeli.

Baekhyun placed the phone on his pocket and slumped on the couch. He ruffled his hair in frustration while letting out an annoyed sigh. Angeli sat next to him. "What are you planning to do with her?"

"I still don't know...but" Baekhyun reached in his pocket and took out the phone. "I think we should eat dinner"

"Dinner?" Angeli asked, her eyes on the phone.

"Yes, let's eat dinner out for change?" Baekhyun stood up and gave the phone to Angeli. She accepted the phone. "Why? Did your manager told you to?"

"No, I'm just trying to be nice to you. I'm trying my best here..."

"Fine, It's just that....I'm not used to it that's all" 

Angeli placed the phone in her pocket, relieved that she can still keep her secret longer. Why would she tell the truth now? Now that Baekhyun's beginning to be nice to her.
