"Percy? You're the second student?" My dad asked incredulously.

"I guess. Not like I don't know this." I rolled my eyes.

He laughed. "Yep. If you didn't I would probably disown you."

Wait. What?! I stared at him.

"What? I'm kidding." He smiled at me before walking over for a hug.

"Percy it is not your fault. Please stop blaming yourself." He said in Greek.

" It is my fault. If I had been faster... It should have been me." I cried into his shoulder.

"Shh. Percy don't say that." He rubbed my back.

"Um. I'm just going to go..." Wanda started edging out of the room.

"No its fine." I pulled away from my dad and sat.

Hello my Lady! Several fish yelled.

Hi. Guys can you please leave me be? I wish to clear my thoughts.

Of course.

"Guess we aren't going to do our planned lesson today, as it would be redundant." My dad sat next to me; I leaned against him.

"I love you Dad." I sighed.

"I love you too." He took my hand in his own and he pressed something small into my hand.

He released my hand and handed Wanda a packet that he pulled out of nowhere.

"Just do that. Its nothing you don't know."

While he told her that I opened my hand to reveal a camp bead.

It was white with a sea green trident centered in the middle surrounded by six other symbols.

A fire red hammer. Leo.

A golden yellow lightning bolt. Jason.

A pink dove. Piper.

Two crossed blood red spears. Frank.

A black helm. Hazel.

A silvery gray owl. Andrew.

I slipped off my necklace and slid the bead down.

One more bead. One more year. One more war. One more time I survived.

No wonder he said not to blame myself.

Because I'm the only one of the Seven to receive this bead.

There should have been more of us left.

If I could have died to save any of them I would of.

If I could have done anything to be the only death I would have.

My dad at this point was looking over at me concerned.

"Percy." He put a hand on my shoulder.

I shook my head. I just need to-to... I don't know what I need to do.
