Enter The Doctor

The cloister bell sounded, The Doctor knew that it meant trouble was imminent. The Doctor stepped out of the TARDIS in to present day New York, it was a warm night and the wind blew a gentle breeze and the smell of pizza, The Doctor looked around and said "if you're going to stand up there and watch me, you could at least have the decency to introduce yourself"

Four pairs of eyes looked down at The Doctor and in a flash they disappeared. "He definitely saw us, in fact he even spoke to us" said Leonardo, leader of The Turtles. "Man did you see the way he just appeared out of nowhere, one moment we are eating pizza on a roof top and the next this guy just appears and what even is a police box?" Said Donatello, the staff carrying scientific mind of The Turtles.

Master Splinter a giant mutated rat appeared "what do you speak of my sons, who have you encountered?" The Turtles stood there looking at their master, Michelangelo was the first to speak "Sensei imagine you like had no box and then suddenly a blue box just appears in front of you and a guy walks out of it" Splinter looked perplexed "I don't want to imagine that" Raphael who had mostly been quiet spoke next "Mikey is telling the truth, that is what happened, one moment there was no box and then suddenly a box, we didn't know what to do so we came back here for guidance.

Suddenly the blue box appeared in The Turtles lair, The Turtles grabbed their weapons. The Doctor stepped out of the TARDIS "ah there you are, I had trouble locking on to your signature and... am I in a sewer? Forget that, now then my TARDIS gave me a warning and when I landed I saw you four watching me. So what's going on?"

Master Splinter stood in front of The Turtles, "who are you?" He asked. The Doctor looked annoyed "you don't answer a question with a question, I asked first so you have to answer me and then you can ask your question" Raphael looked angry "hey man you don't speak to The Master like that" The Doctor took a step back and thought for a second. "Master, is it really you?" The Doctor then stepped forward and placed his hand on Splinter's chest "oh only one heart" he said.

The Doctor noticed he had a sword pressed to his neck. "Excuse me but do you mind not doing that, I am not armed and frankly it is very rude" Master Splinter raised his hand and The Turtles backed off. Then Master Splinter said "I understand you don't like that I answer a question with a question, but I must question a man who can materialise at will and does not question the fact that he is standing in front of a 6 foot tall rat and four Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

The Doctor raised his eyebrows "I thought they were toads"
Master Splinter smiled briefly "might I make a guess that you are not of this world?"
The Doctor replied "you would be guessing right and might I make a guess that this isn't the first time you have met someone from another world?
Master Splinter began to tell The Doctor who they are "my name is Master Splinter and these are my sons Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo and Raphael, for some reason I feel that I can trust you, so I will tell you what ever you need to know, but first you must tell me who you are and you must tell Donatello how your blue box was able to materialise in here before his brain bursts.
Donatello looked sheepish.

The Doctor thought for a second and then began to tell his story "my name is The Doctor, I am a Time Lord from the planet Gallifrey, that blue box is called The Tardis and it allows me to travel anywhere in space and time."
The Turtles approached The Tardis "this is so cool" said Michelangelo.
"But what is a police box?" Asked Leonardo
The Doctor had a look of glee on his face, it's a story that he has told many times but it is not a story that he tires of telling. "Well it blends in to wherever it lands, but the chameleon circuit is broken, I landed in 1960s London a long time ago and Police Boxes were everywhere, so she disguised herself as Police Box, like if it were in here ideally and the chameleon circuit worked it would blend in as a pipe or something".

Master Splinter stepped forward "Doctor perhaps with your otherworldly knowledge you can help us with our problem, my sons and I have been fighting The Krang for many years now"
The Doctor interrupted "The Krang? You mean those little brain things with tentacles?"
Master Splinter looked surprised "you have encountered The Krang before then? They are more than just brains now, they have built robot bodies to disguise themselves and have been slowly invading earth for a few years now, my sons and I have beaten them back on many occasions and.... Doctor why are you smiling?
The Doctor broke his smile, "sorry it's just, little brain things with tentacles inside robot bodies intent on invading planet earth, now where have I heard that before?".

Donatello approached The Doctor "sir seeing as you have encountered The Krang before you may have a way of defeating them once and for all?"
The Doctor looked angry "what you are suggesting is genocide, I won't be a part of genocide, I will track them down and ask them politely to leave"
Donatello looked ashamed "I didn't think of it as genocide, I am sorry, but I have been tracking them, they have a space ship just outside of our atmosphere."
The Doctor was very impressed "do you have coordinates?"
"You betcha" said Donatello
The Doctor pondered for a second and said "right you 5 in to the TARDIS"

Master Splinter backed away "I will remain here, the lair cannot be left unattended, and how will 6 of us fit in a small blue box?"
The Doctor looked delighted "oh I have been waiting to say this" with a click of his fingers, the TARDIS doors opened and The Turtles walked in and were awestruck.
The Doctor walked up to the controls, clicked his fingers again to close the doors and said "and oh yes it's bigger on the inside"
