Turtles in the Tardis

Donatello was beside himself with joy, he walked around the TARDIS and stood beside The Doctor, "Doctor I thought I had a good idea of science, and dimensional engineering but this is truly amazing, I mean it's just incredible"
Raphael sat down on the floor "its okay I guess, but what are we doing in here?"
Leonardo and Michelangelo both looked at The Doctor for an answer.

The Doctor took the coordinates from Donatello. "This can wait" he said "The Krang won't be going anywhere, now I believe your Master, oh and whilst we are on the subject he must stop referring to himself as The Master, it's awfully confusing, I believe he said that you four are Ninja Turtles? Well before we go and deal with The Krang I will take you somewhere amazing". With the flick of a switch and a whirr of a protruding socket, The Tardis landed.

Japan - 1527ad.

"Now then I am sure I don't need to tell you, but I will anyway, stick to the shadows" said The Doctor
The Doctor exited The TARDIS, followed by The Turtles.
Michelangelo spoke first "woah man, we like totally moved, dude who are you and how did you do that? Man this is amazing, one moment we are in the lair and now we are... where are we?
The Doctor was both bemused and annoyed "not exactly sticking to the shadows are you, we are in Japan and the year is 1527 and we are going to this little dojo that I know of, the ginger tea is amazing, really warms you up, anyway it's up this hill.

Raphael panted "hill he said? Hill? This is a MOUNTAIN!"
"Raf don't shout so loud you will draw attention to us" said Leonardo
"Man I can't believe that Sensei is missing all of this" said Michelangelo.
"We are here" said The Doctor.
An old man with a long grey beard greeted The Doctor "ah Doctor, we meet again my friend, is there danger? Have the Itsumade returned?"
"No no it's nothing like that, I want you to meet my new companions, Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo. Turtles I would like for you to meet Takeshi Yoshi.
The Turtles all raised their eyebrows at the same time.
Michelangelo whispered "do you think he is related to Sensei?"
The Turtles quietly nodded.

Takeshi welcomed The Doctor and The Turtles in to his dojo. "Doctor if you don't mind me asking, if you are not here about the Itsumade, then why have you come here?"
The Doctor replied "well I was looking for New Zealand when my TARDIS brought me to New York and then I met these guys"
Takeshi interrupted The Doctor "Doctor you ramble so much, a simple question requires a simple answer why are you here old friend?
The Doctor spoke sternly "because these four will most likely be going in to battle alongside me very soon and they need to be ready, so I thought I would bring them to the very best Ninja and Samurai trainer to have ever lived to hone their skills and learn some new ones"
Takeshi smiled "your words humble me Doctor and here I thought you came to drink all of my ginger tea again"

Takeshi Yoshi stood up. "You must all get some rest, for we will begin training at sunrise and we will not finish training until sunset, lay your weapons on this table and my assistant will polish and sharpen them for you".
The Turtles did as they were told.
Takeshi continued "now find a space to sleep".
Donatello approached his brothers "man I sure wish April were here, I feel bad that she is missing out on all of this"

The Doctor was listening to The Turtles talking to one another and then he said "right, you boys do whatever Takeshi tells you to do, be respectful and be polite, oh and where would I find this April? As much as I love sleeping on the cold hard floor of a mountainside dojo in middle ages Japan, I really rather would not, I will be back to collect you in a few days"
The Doctor entered the TARDIS and dematerialised
"Man that just gets cooler" said Michelangelo.

The Doctor returned to present day New York and landed the TARDIS back in the Turtles lair.
"Master Splinter, look can I just call you Splinter? I'm not liking this whole Master thing, I tend to have bad experiences with people called Master in fact on a few of those occasions I have died"
Splinter cut off The Doctor "you ramble so much Doctor"
The Doctor grinned "I think I know why you trust me, just to ease my mind what is your real name?"
Splinter looked The Doctor in the eyes "my name is Hamato Yoshi"
The Doctor smiled again "well of course it is"

The Doctor explored the lair and fixed a few valves and leaks with his sonic screwdriver.
Splinter spoke loudly so that The Doctor could hear him "Doctor where are my sons?"
The Doctor felt embarrassed "yes of course! Sorry I should have said! They are at my friend's Dojo taking on some extra training, I won't lie to you Hamato, the last time I encountered The Krang a lot of innocent people died before I was able to stop them, this time I need stealth and strength and maybe just maybe they will leave this world alone.

Master Splinter stood up "please call me Splinter, Hamato Yoshi is who I used to be before I was turned in to a rat, if you are preparing to lead my sons in to battle, then I must insist on joining you. The Doctor nodded in agreement. "Splinter I came back here to find someone called April, I sensed that your Turtles would feel stronger with her by their side.
Splinter twitched his nose, ah yes April O'Neal, I know just where to find her" Master Splinter pointed upwards "let's go"
