Jesse's Point of View
Same time"Jesse, I need you to lead the hunt in a little bit." My older brother, and both fortunately and unfortunately, my alpha, Jacob told me.
I was walking towards my room to change after showering when he asked. Turning to look at him, I asked, "Why can't you lead the hunt? And isn't it the Blue Oasis' day?"
He gave me a stern look. "Because I had asked you to lead it, Jesse. And to answer your question, yes it is. But we are out of food and we need more. If you may not know, there are children in the pack who are still growing. But you should be fine since the Blue Oasis pack is about half a mile away. I am having you go more north than where we usually hunt so no one has the urge to attack." He told me.
"Why go north when we can stay where we are if we're "half a mile away?"" I said, more sternly than I thought it would come out. But oh well.
Jacob sighs. "Jesse, please not today." He said. "Fine." I said blankly. "When do we leave?" "You will leave in about an hour. I will come and get you when it's ready to go."
Nodding once, I turn back to walk into my room and shut the door.
