It was Victoria's fist day at WMHS and so far, so good.

The bell signalling the end of class rang. Victoria gathered up her sheet music and put her chello back into the case before swinging her bag over her shoulder and leaving the music room. She made her way down the corridor. Just then she was approached by a blonde haired girl who looked extremely fake. Victoria couldn't help but look at how she had left dark shadows on her face from not blending her makeup properly.

"Your Lukus' sister?" The girl asked. Victoria nodded her head confirming this. "He's so hot" the girl paused. Looking Victoria up and down "I guess we're all just wondering how on earth you two are related. I mean, he's so talented and your, well you" she laughed and all her cronies followed her lead.

Victoria turned and ran back into the music room. Tears streaming down her eyes. She slumped at the bottom of the door of the now empty room sobbing into her knees.

She looked up. Her vision was blurred but she could make out that there was a piano in the corner. She stood up and slowly made her way towards it. Placing her hand on top when she got there. She took a breath before sitting on the piano stool. Her fingers hovered over the keys for a second before she started playing

She sang

🎶I GUESS ITS FUNNIER FROM WHERE YOUR STANDING, CAUSE FROM OVER HERE I MISSED THE JOKE. MAKE WAY FOR MY CRASH LANDING, I DID IT AGAIN, IM TORN, BASHED AND BROKE🎶

Victoria finished the song and closed her eyes. When she opened them her eyes streamed with tears again. She wasn't really sure why.

She turned to look at the door where she jumped realising she had an unexpected audience member. Stood there smiling down at the ground was Skye Hummel-Anderson.

"That was, incredible" Skye looked up and made eye contact. Victoria felt a flutter in her chest. 'What was that?!' She thought

Skye walked over to the piano, placing her bag beside it and and taking a seat on the stool. Making Victoria budge up a little.

"What else can you play?" Skye asked, smiling at Victoria. Victoria noticed how pretty Skye looked when she smiled.

"Um- I can play" Victoria thought for a second before playing a complicated but beautiful piece of classical music on the piano.

"Show me?" Skye asked.

Victoria showed Skye what chords to play and where to move her hands to after playing each note. Okay now play.. she gently pressed 4 keys on the piano. Skye played after, however it was slightly off. Victoria looked at her fingers. She took her hand and moved Skye's pinki to where it should have been placed. She paused for a second looking up at Skye and again the two made eye contact.

"Why were you crying?" Skye asked. Victoria noticed how extremely captivating looking into Skye's eyes were. "Being the new kid isn't exactly easy, especially when you have a brother like Lukus" Victoria gave an honest answer without even realising it.

She shook her head. The two sat silent for a second before both lifting their heads to speak at the same time, when they noticed they were quiet again. Just looking at one another.

Victoria wasn't quite sure what was going on. She had never sat with a girl and felt the way she did when she was in Skye's company. She had a tingle in her toes and a nervous yet excited feeling in her stomach.

The two sat for a second longer. Victoria then had a sudden urge. She lent in and pecked Skye on the lips. The kiss only lasted a second before Victoria realised what she had done and she pulled away quickly, embarrassed.

"I'm so sorry, I-"

But before she could finish her sentence Skye's lips were on hers again, Skye pressed her lips into Victoria's and the kiss lasted considerably longer than their previous. This time it was Skye who pulled away. But not for any other reason than that the kiss had lasted as long as it had to.

"I have tap" Skye said as she stood up and lifted her bag from the floor. "You really can play. I'll see you around I'm sure" Skye smiled as she opened the music room door and turned left making her way to tap.

Victoria sat at the piano. She wasn't sure why but she couldn't stop smiling. She wasn't sure what had just happened, but she had liked it, a lot.
