Split Ends

*This is a continuation of part 4*

[Wind is clashing against the windows of the school. Many kids are used to the weather in Washington, but Roni and Nessa aren't. They sit quietly in class.]

*Roni*

I sit doodling in my bright blue notebook. Everyone around me is taking notes and paying attention... well not everyone.

*RINNNNGGG*

The bell sounded and I shoved my notebook in my bag and walked out the door. Time for physics.

As I arrived at the classroom I saw the boy... what was his name again- my thoughts were interrupted.

"Welcome to Physics!" The kind teacher greeted me as I walked in. "I'm Mr. Lakin, or Mr. L. Here's your textbook and you can take a seat next to that kind gentleman there- Collins." He handed me my textbook

Collins. That was his name. Collins Key.

I slowly walked over to his lab table and sat next to him, being aware of my surroundings. I glanced over. He didn't look happy. I could feel him staring at me as I wrote notes down in my notebook. I returned the gaze. He jumped up as the bell rung and walked out of the classroom, but his old aura lingered.

I got up and walked to the main office. I could see Collins talking to the lady at the front desk. I turned around to leave, but my curiosity took over. The next thing I knew I was opening the door and standing right there behind him.

"There's got to be another class I can take. Anything. Earth science, biology, please." Collins complained angrily to the secretary.

"I'm sorry but nothing's available," she answered politely.

Collins turns around and notices me. "I'll just have to suffer through it," he shoves open the door and walks away.

What did I do wrong... why does he hate me..

Ahh, sorry this part was so short. I didn't have a lot of free time today and I wanted to give you guys something because you have been really supportive and kind!! I promise tomorrow's will be much longer (hopefully) and there may have to be a few scene changes for that to happen, but I will make it work. Thanks for all of your positive feedback!!
