First love! Makoto x reader [COMPLETED]

A Nice Surprise

A couple weeks have passed since we got home from our honeymoon and settled into the house. Everything was perfect. We had been putting together the pool and enjoying our new life together.

Makoto had his first class at the pool today and I had planned to stay home and decorate.

I crawled out of bed and saw a note on my night stand.

I left pretty early this morning for work. You looked peaceful sleeping so I left quietly. I love you.

He was always so thoughtful.
I walked to the fridge and got a quick bowl of cereal before I went out shopping for decor.

A wave of sickness hit me though and I ran to the bathroom and started vomiting. After I calmed down, I frowned and slowly crawled to my phone. I suddenly felt so sick but I didn't wanna bother Makoto at work so I called Kou instead.

"Hello?" Kou always picked her phone up so fast.
"Hey, I don't know what to do. I'm extremely sick right now but it's Makoto's first day at work." I explained.

She got very quiet, "I'll be there in a couple hours." Then she hung up before I could respond.

I sighed and dragged myself to the kitchen for water.

******COUPLE HOURS LATER*****

I woke up from a nap to the sound of someone walking in the door.

"I'm here!~" Kou sung as she entered the house.

I slowly got up and went to greet her, "You didn't have to come all the way to Kyoto. I feel a lot better now anyways."

She went through her bag and handed me a box, "Go take this."

I looked down and noticed she had handed me a pregnancy test. My eyes widened and my face turned bright red as I walked away to the bathroom.

I took the test and took a deep breath while I waited.

..

Positive.

My face lit up with a surprised smile. I quickly washed my hands and ran out to Kou.
"I'm pregnant!"

Kou squealed, "That means you guys finally had sex!"

I rolled my eyes at her, "At least I waited till I was married to him, unlike you!"

She laughed nervously, "That's not the point, are you excited?"

I nodded quickly, "I've always wanted a child before. Do you think it's too soon though?"

Kou shook her head, "No you're both old enough and have a stable life. When are you gonna tell Makoto?"

I stopped for a minute, "I'll tell him tonight, I'm sure he'll freak out."

Kou laughed, "Yeah he will. You should make him a big nice dinner and reveal the news then."

"That's a great idea!" I exclaimed as I walked toward the kitchen.

Kou and I cooked a huge dinner then she decided to head home. As I was setting the table I heard Makoto arrive home.

"(F/N) I'm home," he called into the house.

I ran out and hugged him really tightly, "Welcome home, dinners almost ready."

"Smells amazing," I walked him to the table and sat down with him.

"Wow!" His eyes widened, "you made a ton of food."

"I was excited about your first day at work so I went all out. How was work by the way?" I asked as I eat a huge portion of food.

He went on and told me about the kids in his class and how excited he was.

After he helped me clean up all the food and put all the dishes away.

"Hey Makoto, movie night?" I asked while hugging him.

"Yeah! I'll go get blankets, you go pick a movie." He smiled and walked out.

I took a deep breath to calm my nerves then proceeded to pick a movie. I also lit some candles and sat on the couch till her came in.

He handed me the blankets and went to turn the tv on.

"Wait Makoto, can we talk about something before we start watching?" I took another deep breath, I wasn't sure how he would react.

He tilted his head and sat down, "of course. What is it?"

"Well, I was really sick this morning an-" He cut me off in the middle of my sentence.

"Are you ok?? Why didn't you call me?? Do you still feel sick? I'll go get medicine!" He looked extremely worried and got up to get medicine and I giggled and grabbed his arm.

"I'm fine now, I actually know why I'm sick." I smiled and looked down.

"What is it?" He lifted my chin.

"I'm pregnant."

Makoto's eyes widened and he froze, "so we're having a baby??"

I nodded.

He smiled extremely big and tackled me into a hug. "We're gonna be parents!! This is amazing! I can't believe it!"

All my nerves went away and I hugged back, "I knew you'd be excited, I was still nervous to say though."

He laughed, "We need to go get ultrasounds! And start the babies room. Do you think it's a boy or girl?" He got up and kissed my stomach.

"Calm down Makoto," I laughed. "We need to wait to tell people and everything until we get the ultrasound."

He nodded and gave me a Makoto smile. "I love you so much." He snuggled into me again and smiled.

We never ended up watching the movie though. We both ended up falling asleep on the couch together.

Surprise! Schools almost out and I'm hyped. Man, I hate to say it but I'm gonna try to wrap this book up in a chapter or two.

I opened my app last night to see over 1000 notifications for this book. Y'all are amazing, I can't believe people are still reading it!!

News flash on that guy I talked about before: he cheated on me! It's been wild lately. But now I've been into anime again.

I STARTED FUTURE DIARY AND I LOVE IT SO MUCH!
