[Jeff POV]

It was huge... the rouvine was bigger than I thought it would be.

It was also more deeper than we thought it would be, making it almost impossible to straight up jump down. Skeletons sniper at us from afar but we were cautious enough to not fall... but McJones is seriously scaring me by creeping near the edge.
"McJones back away! You're scaring me..."

He laughed and jumped over the edge. My heart stopped and I madly dashed over to him...
Oh. There was a platform below...
"MCJONES WHY ARE YOU TOYING WITH ME?!!??" I cried.
He grinned at me derpily.

Somehow we did manage to get back down, but the situation below wasn't much better - many lava falls blocking paths that concealed hidden treasures. I would dash through to see what's on the other side, but it will hurt a lot a lot, so screw it let those diamonds be lonely!

After a little bit further on ( and a whole lot more mob dodging ) we found a massive hub like area where lava was flowing through cracks and water countering it creating many blocks of dark obsidian blocks, just what we need. McJones had the diamond pick Austin crafted from his diamonds and immediately started working on obsidian that was laying around.
We decided to push ahead after awhile, mainly when we ran out of 'safe' obsidian to mine.

Except it wasn't that cut dry - the water was blocking our path, blocking our path and actively pushing us into the lava directing to the right.

"I got this!" Jared smirked, beginning to walk towards the waterfall.

Austin yelled from the distance,
"Don't you DARE lose the sword!"

Jared nodded,
"Right..." he finished.

Well I guess there's nobody up for the task so why not me?
Swimming vertically wasn't too difficult in this world but it certainly took long. Three blocks... seven blocks... thirteen blocks... twenty seven...
Oh god...
It's higher than we all predicted.

"Get down Jeff it's too risky!" Austin shouted from below.

Well he was right and I'm not that good at playing solo...
I need to bail.
Swimming downwards I stumbled after my feet touched ground. My cheeks turned red.

"Guys I wussed out...!" I sighed.

McJones pat my shoulder, comforting me without words.
"We can just block off the water with stone, it's just I would've preferred to have a bucket of water at disposal." He said, already blocking the constant stream of water with stone.

We reached a point where the path splits into two, basically a surefire way to get us to split into two teams.

So we did, I went to the right with McJones, Dean and Ray while the adventurous souls Austin and Jared wandered off to the left.
"Whoever finds diamonds first wins!" Jared shouted as Austin dashed off.
