Chapter 44

Killian's POV

"So you put all this money in a recording studio and you didnt even know if you'll make money?" Emma asks.

"Yes, is that a problem?" I ask.

"Well no, but with Leia out of school and I just think it will take time for this company to grow and I want Leia to go to college. She needs to have an education and maybe she can do music in her free time." She says.

"So your just saying she needs to go to college to have a bright future?" I ask.

"Yes. I wish you would have told me your plan before you did this." She says.

"Emma I dont want to fight with you, but have you really consider what Leia wants." I say.

"Killian I know whats best for her and she needs college just incase she doesnt make it like you did." She says getting up and walking into the kitchen.

I looked at her and then I looked at the stairs and I saw Leia. When she saw me she freaked out and went upstairs.

Leia's POV

I hated this my mother is trying to choose my life. I went downstairs and walked right out of the house. I went to Granny's and sat in a booth by myself thinking about what my mom said.

"Hey there." Ryder says.

"Hi." I say.

"Are you okay?" He asks.

"I dont really know." I say.

"What do you mean?" He asks.

"My mother wants me to go to college and she thinks theres a chance I wont make it. Then theres my father who wants it to be my choice." I say.

"Well I think that your great at music and I think you can succeed at college. Whatever your choice your gonna succeed. Trust me." He says.

"Well thats the thing I know at both I can succeed I just dont know what to choose." I say.

"Just be yourself." He says.

"Come with me somewhere." I say.

"Okay." He says.

I took him to the studio it wasnt ready, but I had a song I was working on and I had to play it for someone.

"Well? I need honest feedback." I say.

"I like it. Its an amazing song." He says.

"Thanks." I say.

"No matter what anyone says whatever your dream you will get there." He says.

"He is right love. Your choice, but no one is making you choose now." My dad says walking up.

"Its too bad there wont be a time to choose for you. Your times out." Graham says walking up.

Oh god this guy again. Why cant he just go away.
