Chapter 70

Leia's POV

I got home to where my friends were with Ryder and Hope. The last three months have been hard, but my family, friends, and Ryder have been such a big help especially my mom. When I walked in the group greeted me, but when I saw what my daughter was wearing they group left.

"Woah whats with the hat?" I ask.

"Oh just a gift from my mother." Ryder says.

"Cruella? Im mean Ella Deville? Her really?" I ask.

"Wow you really hate my mother dont you." He says.

"No... Though my family arnt big fans." I say.

"So where have you been?" He asks.

"With my mom." I say.

"Oh thats funny your mom came here looking for you." He says.

"Oh." I say.

I just walked into the bedroom and sat on the bed. Thats when Ryder walked in and placed Hope in her crib and then he sat next to me.

"So where were you?" He asks.

"I was at the docks thinking and well time really got away from me." I say.

"You really arnt happy are you?" He asks.

"What? Why would you ask that?" I ask.

"You just seen unhappy. Is it me? Is it Hope? Is it this music thing again?" He asks.

"Its not you or Hope or the music. Its my parents and Wesley." I say.

"What why?" He asks.

"I saw my mom and dad with Wesley and how they were in Granny's and they looked happy. I thought I wouldnt be upset by Wesley getting to grow up with my father, but it hit me today. He will have everything I have always wanted and theres nothing I can do about it." I say holding back tears.

"Hey Lei, it will be okay. I think you should just let this go and pay more attention to Hope and give her the life you wanted." He says.

"Yeah I guess your right. I dont know why Im so upset about this." I say.

"I know what you mean my father wasnt always there. If he had another child he spent more time with I would be upset too." He says.

"Im sorry if I made you feel like I was unhappy with you and Hope." I say.

"Its okay. Hey how about you and I take Hope to Granny's and go eat." He says.

He and I took Hope to Granny's and we sat down and the rest of my family was at the back. I saw my mom and dad with Wesley and my mom looked over at me and it made me upset. She noticed and came over to our table.

"Hey Leia. Why dont you guys come join us?" My mom asks.

"No thanks mom. I think we're good." I say.

"Are you sure?" She asks.

"Yeah Lei are you sure?" Ryder asks.

I looked over at my father with Wesley and I couldnt handle it. For some reason now it was a problem.

"I cant. Im sorry." I say and walked out of the diner.

Why does this bug me so much? Should I not feel this way? I need to somewhere and think about this.
