'This is ridiculous,' Draco groused as Hermione showed him how to fasten his seat-belt.

'You're the one who refuses to wear Ron's old clothes!'

Draco scoffed. Hugo babbled in the car-seat behind him.

'There are so many better ways of travelling than this...'

'Different. There are different ways to travel. The involvement of magic, or lack thereof, does not reflect upon its value as a method of transportation.'

'Sure thing, Granger,' Draco rolled his eyes.

'So, what's your postcode?' Hermione asked, clipping the GPS to the windscreen.

'My what?'

'Your postcode? You don't...? Never mind. Where do you live?'

'Malfoy Manor'

'Obviously, but...' Hermione rubbed her hand over her face. 'What's the nearest town or village?'

'Little Durnford, near Salisbury.'

'If I get us there, can you direct me the rest of the way?'

'Yeah...yeah I think so'

Hermione tapped the town into the GPS, then pulled out into the street. She saw Draco grab the seat, flinching.

'...I love my broom...I love my broom...' Draco moaned as they joined the motorway. His eyes were wide, his knuckles white as he hung onto the seat.

Hermione reached out and patted his hand, sympathetically.

'Keep your bloody hands on the wheel, woman! You'll kill us all!'

Hermione's lips twitched, trying not to laugh.

'There's no way apparating would be worse for me than this,' Draco growled. 'That stupid witch has no idea what she's talking about. I want a second opinion.'

'Dr Patil is the best in her field, if she's put you on an apparition-ban, you'll do as you're damn well told.'

'Why do I have to put up with this?!' Draco whined, to no-one in particular.

'I can turn around and drop you off at St Mungo's instead...'

'No! No, it's fine! But I'm having your house floo-linked to the Manor first thing tomorrow.'

'Fine, it'll save me a fortune in petrol, every time you decide you've forgotten your hair products or whatever else you deem essential.'

'Yes, clearly we have a different idea of "essential" hair care,' Draco sneered as he smoothed his hair.

Hermione jerked the steering wheel from side to side. Draco moaned and closed his eyes. He had gone slightly green. Hermione laughed.
