'Mmph, I'll be honest, Granger,' Draco said between bites of food.  'I'll actually miss your cooking.'

'Well yeah, the food at St Mungo's isn't exactly the best.' Hermione laughed. 'I spent the whole time dreaming of what I'd have when I got out!'

'What did you end up having?'

'Everything, I couldn't choose! Told Rose we were having a feast, like at Hogwarts. We ate left-overs for a week!'

Hermione and Draco laughed, Hugo smiled at them from his high-chair.

'So, did you speak to Teddy about talking at the Ministry?'  Draco looked genuinely interested.

'Yeah, he said he'd think about it.  He's going to let me know what he's decided when he gets back from his holiday.'

'When's the debate?'

'Next month, so plenty of time to prepare, for whichever of us ends up speaking.'

'I'll make sure to be there,' Draco smiled.  'I mean, if that's ok?'

Hermione nodded, suddenly shy.

'You really don't have to leave,' Hermione ventured, suddenly.  'Sleep on it at least.  See how you feel in the morning?'

Draco sighed, pushing the last of his food around the plate.  Eventually he nodded.

'I'm knackered,' Draco yawned, as he cleared the table.  'Think I'll to go to bed.'

'Ok, let me know if you need anything.'

It was after midnight, but Hermione couldn't sleep.  She was too restless to watch another film, so she was cleaning the kitchen.  A CD played quietly in the background as swept the floor.

"And I'd give up forever to touch you
'Cause I know that you feel me somehow"

Singing along, Hermione danced around the kitchen.

"You're the closest to heaven that I'll ever be
And I don't wanna go home right now"

A noise startled her and she spun around, dropping the broom with a clatter.  Draco was leaning against the doorframe, watching her.

'Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you,' Hermione stammered, blushing.

'You didn't,' Draco shrugged.  He stepped forward and picked up the broom.  'Mind if I cut in?'  He asked the broom formally, before putting it to one side.

"And all I can taste is this moment
And all I can breathe is your life
When sooner or later it's over
I just don't wanna miss you tonight"

Hermione felt mesmerised as Draco slipped his hand around her waist.  She put her hand in his and he pulled her close.

"And I don't want the world to see me
'Cause I don't think that they'd understand
When everything's made to be broken
I just want you to know who I am"

They danced around Hermione's kitchen, moonlight shining through the window.

'My ballroom isn't as grand as yours,' Hermione giggled as Draco bumped into the sink.

'Yours is cosier, though,' Draco smiled.

"And you can't fight the tears that ain't coming
Or the moment of truth in your lies
When everything feels like the movies
Yeah, you bleed just to know you're alive"

Hermione leaned her head against his chest.  She could feel his heart beating quickly.

"And I don't want the world to see me
'Cause I don't think that they'd understand
When everything's made to be broken
I just want you to know who I am"

The song ended, but Draco's arms were still around her.  Hermione's breath caught as she looked up into his eyes.  Slowly, Draco leaned down and his lips met hers.

Draco suddenly fled the room, his face pink.  Hermione stood, frozen in place, staring at the door.
