Tuesday
Arden, Kayla, and Luna became bests of friends now. I trailed behind them, texting away on my phone. "You look sad." Arden appeared at my side, her head resting on my shoulder. Arden was taller than me, bending at an awkward height. I wasn't quite small either, just about average. "I'm not sad," I replied, puffing out my chest. She rolled her eyes and gave me one last squeeze before running up to the duo (Kayla and Luna). Peyton appeared at my side, causing me to squeal in surprise. "What the- when did you get here?" Peyton looked me in the eye and said, "I've been here the whole time."

I groaned aloud. "Peyton! Help me, my head hurts," I whined, wrapping my arms around Peyton's waist. "Go home," was all the reply I got. I deadpanned. Luna walked up to us, her hands in her pockets. "Hey guys," she said, her voice barely at a whisper. "Hey," Peyton said awkwardly. I inwardly laughed at their encounter. "Luna you can sit right here!" I pat the seat beside me. Since the teacher was gone fourth hour, we were given the option of free time. Luna, Peyton, and I conversed about anime for a short while before I saw a text from Arden. "What's up?" Peyton leaned over to look at the message. "Tell her we're having more fun than she is," Peyton said. I handed my phone to Peyton. "You type it in, I'm too lazy." Luna only laughed and continued to scroll down on her phone. "I'm so confused," I mumbled into Peyton's shirt. "About?" I shrugged, "I don't know, that's the problem." Peyton sighed and pat my head. "There, there small child," said Peyton. I rolled my eyes and looked towards Luna. She was smiling at something. "Why do you seem so happy?" I asked her. "She's got a boyfriend," Peyton murmured. "What?! How come you didn't tell me?" I huffed. "His name is John," Luna said. "That John?" I pointed to a small Asian boy who was playing on his phone. "Uh, no." I continued to cuddle with Peyton until the bell rang.

I planned to stay after school since I was in weight training. Arden and Alex stood by my side. "Yosha! Five pounds!" I cheered. "I can lift seven," Alex bragged. "Shut up," I punched him on his shoulder and tested out heavier weights. "I'm so sore!" I cried. "Oh, from what?" Alex wiggled his brows. I only glared at him. Once weight training was finally over, Arden and I head out. "Let's sit over there," Arden suggested. "Sure." We walked over to the side of the school and sat on the ground. "Let me sleep," I said and rested my head on Arden's lap. "Okay," she replied. After what seems like quite a while, I woke up. Arden and I was leaning on each other. She was still asleep. Checking the time, I realized we had 10 minutes until the buses arrived. I stared at her feature. Her skin was paler than usual, probably because she had recently broken up with her boyfriend. Her hair was a pale blonde and was cropped up to her neck.
... That had reminded me of something. 'Hair cropped short.' I furrowed my brows. Her scent gave me a nostalgic memory.
~ 'What are you here for?' I seem to say. She only waited, her hand still reaching out towards mines. 'What about the man?' I said next. She only grunted, drawing her hands back. She seemed to move closer now, inch to inch with my face. Her eyes- bluer than the ocean and smoother than the passing wind. Then, I've come to the stopping point.' ~
