I laid on my bed unable to move. I had already called Peyton, not sure if I was seeking an answer. Peyton had only comforted me, which had not really brought down my anger for Arden. 'Why am I mad again?' I questioned myself. I closed my eyes, burying my face into my pillows. Arden had blocked me, despite that I was the one mad at her. I let it be, not caring about her for a slight second. Eying a silver edge, I made rainbows appear in my vision.

Thursday

I stayed outside, waiting for Arden and Luna. Kayla had already walked off with Hannah inside the school building. From the school parking lot, Arden and Luna walked up to me, laughing with joy. I huffed in annoyance and went to greet them. I gave Luna a one sided hug, then squeezed Arden with my hold. She rubbed my back slowly. I let go, not wanting it to look like I was the one dating her. Alex ran up to me, talking about the latest anime. I nod a short 'goodbye' to Arden and Luna and followed Alex inside.

I clicked my pen steadily and scribbled down on the piece of paper in front of me. From outside the classroom. Arden and Noah hugged each other, the smiles on their face were brighter than daylight. Noah bid farewell to Arden. She smiled back and stepped inside the classroom. As soon as she sat in the chair next to me, I blurted, "do you like him?" She just shrugged and replied, "I'm dating Luna, Evan." I took a deep breath and let it go, despite my inner battles. "Hey, we still need to talk about yesterday..." I trailed off, turning towards Arden. She continued to write, but replied, "we don't need to talk about anything." I grimaced, "uh, yes we do." She whipped her head around and stared hard at me. "I said no we don't, so drop it." I clenched my fists, ready to argue back, but the teacher was already on our case. "Evan? Arden? Please be quiet, you two are disrupting class," she warned. I huffed and gripped my pen.

I bid farewell to Peyton before heading downstairs for weight training. Arden and Alex sat at the corner, Luna clinging onto Arden's shoulder. I rolled my eyes before approaching them. "Hey guys," I muttered. "Sup," Alex replied. I sat down, next to Alex. He started to ramble on, talking about various cartoons and anime. I glanced at Arden. She and Luna had already formed a strong bond with each other. Luna sat in between Arden's legs and Arden's head rested on Luna's head.

Once Arden and I were alone, I immediately grabbed her wrist, dragging her with me to the other side of the school. "What?" She rubbed her wrist lightly before glaring at me. "Who is he? Tell me." Arden looked stunned for a moment. "It's none of your business Evan," she mumbled. "I've been there for you the whole time as your best friend and your just going to push me away?" I crossed my arms, eager for my answer. "I never said I needed your help did I? Did I ever say for you to be my friend?" Arden's face grew red and started to yell, "you wanna know who he is?"
