Kayla and I walked to the bus stop, her arms looped through mines. George had left for work, so he couldn't drive us to school. Once we arrived, Arden stood outside, waiting as usual. "Arden!" Kayla yelled. They both hugged each other before Kayla excused herself to the restroom. "Evan!" Arden yelled, then she- once again- jumped into my arms. I pat her on the back awkwardly. "What movie did you guys watch?" She asked. "Finding Dory," I replied. "Oh cool, a kids movie," she stated. "Hey, hey, it's pretty good even for a kids movie," I defended. "I never said it wasn't," she shot back. "But you were implying that," I squinted at her. "Uh, no I wasn't, you were assuming I said that, but I never implied that," she crossed her arms and huffed. "Whatever," I sighed. Kayla bounced over to us, she sensed the tension, but didn't say anything.
"There's a new girl," Kayla said, pulling Arden to the corner of the building. I followed, interested. "Did you see her already?" I asked. "No, but I heard a lot of people talking about her." I nodded. "Imma head to the cafeteria alright?" I pointed towards the right, where the cafeteria was located. "Alright," they both replied, Arden still giving me the eye. I rushed in and found Peyton with a couple of other friends. I crouched down and gave Peyton a back hug, crying anime tears. "What happened?" Peyton mumbled. "Nothing. Oh, hey, I heard that there's a new girl," I stated, resting my head on Peyton's shoulders. "Really?" I nodded and pulled out my phone.
Arden: Yo, I met the new girl!!
Evan: Ask her for her schedule
Arden: She has two classes with me and three classes with you
I closed my phone just as the bell rang. "Alright see you Peyton, I'm going downstairs," I waved to Peyton and headed down to first hour. After a few moments, my phone vibrated. I opened Peyton's and I's text.
Peyton: Yup, there's the new girl. She's in my photo imaging class. She is almost as cute as me xD
Evan: Lol, I bet you cuter. Anyways, ttyl
Peyton sent a thumbs up and I closed my phone, ready to start class.

By the time fourth hour came rolling along, I had finally met the new girl. Apparently her name was Luna. Many people joked about how her name represented the moon. She just laughed it off quite casually and walked towards the teacher's desk. Fourth hour was choir, Luna took a seat in the alto's section. She had long straight blonde hair and she was quite tall. Her attire consist of sweats and an Adidas jacket.
I nudge Peyton. "I don't think I should say it, but I'm going to say it anyways: I think she's cute," I whispered to her. Peyton's head bobbed in agreement. A chill ran through my spine. "Okay maybe I shouldn't have said that," I shivered slightly. Peyton only laughed and turned to face the teacher.

I had fourth, fifth, and seventh hour with Luna. The guys gawked at her as if she was the rarest creature ever created. I started to get annoyed with the girl although she hadn't done anything to provoke the boys. During lunch, she sat at our table. Arden had invited her.
"Why did you tell her to come sit over here?" I groaned and smacked Arden's arm. "Cause I'm nicer than you are," she stuck out her tongue and pat the seat beside her. "Hi Luna!" Arden cheered. "Hey," she whispered quietly. Her eyes glanced at me briefly before she sighed and sat down. Arden chat endlessly with Luna meanwhile I sat down staring off into space. I pinched Arden slightly on her sides. "Ouch, b*tch what did you do that for?" She scolded. "I was bored," I shrugged my shoulders and played with her hair. "...anime..." was all I heard before I interrupted Arden's and Luna's conversation. "You like anime?" I questioned, my eyes wide with excitement. She nodded her head. "What kind?" And it went on like that until seventh hour.

I back hugged Peyton and gossiped about what happened today. "Like, I have been talking to her nonstop," I gushed. "Good for you," Peyton replied. "Are you mad?" I poked Peyton's cheek. "No, I'm glad you're getting along with her," Peyton said monotonously. I only hummed and hugged Peyton goodbye before going downstairs to stay after school. "Hey Evan!" Arden waved over to me. "Luna's staying to watch us practice." I furrowed my brows, but didn't question it. Luna stood timidly at the door. Arden jumped into her arms for a hug. "Woah calm down there woman," I pulled Arden back. She only pouted at me before looping arms with Luna.
~ 'She looked back although I find her familiar. Her scent wafted to my nose. I took three steps closer, afraid she would disappear if I did anything sudden. Her ivory complexion had no flaw. She towered over me, gliding on the concrete road and held a hand out towards me. Her face I could not see, but the veins in her body were prominent, as if her skin was too thin. 'The Man on the Moon' she whispered.' ~
