>Colin's POV<

“Nathan has run away.” Those words struck me like bullets. After I had hung up on Nick, I burst into tears, knowing that Nathan couldn’t forgive me and that he was vulnerable. I didn’t know if he could handle being alone. I couldn’t pick up his scent since it was to far away, or maybe since I am so congested from the crying that I couldn’t smell a thing. I snuggled back into my bed, trying to sleep. But the only thing that prevented me from sleeping was his beautiful smile, his love, and happiness when he was with me.

I woke up next morning, the sky gray and dull. I looked at myself in the mirror. Hair messed up, and had the skin pale like a ghost. I then slowly changed out of my clothes. My body cold against the light air flowing through my room from the floor vent. I missed Nathan’s warm touch. I missed his body against mine as we slept together. I missed his soft lips, and the feeling of not being alone.

I then heard a knock at my door. I turned to see the small smiles that my mom and dad gave me. I sat on the back on my bed, almost breaking into tears. My mom sat down next to me and wrapped her arms around me. Then a thought went through my head, maybe I should ask the new kid out, just so Nathan would want me back! No… he would kill me if I did that. Thoughts stirred through my head.

I then suddenly knew that I was in the car, now driving. Luckily he had his cell phone with him. He was all the way in Las Vegas!! I didn’t care how long it would take. I had to get him back. I drove and drove, until I finally reached Las Vegas. It was 1 A.M. and the city was bustling. The phone tracker beeped slowly. I was close! Then the beeping suddenly had a loud sound, making me cover my ears. Soon the beeping had stopped and I looked out to see the Bellagio casino and resort. I drove in the driveway, where a man who work here took my car and gave me a ticket for the valet parking.

I walked inside the Casino seeing the large inside of the building. I soon saw the front desk and a young lady with long brunette hair greeted me. She lightly said, ”How may I help you sir?” I smiled and responded, “Yes. I am looking for my boyfriend, Nathan McCrea. Do you know where he is?” She looked at me weirdly and then started to type on the computer. She looked at me and smiled saying, “Yes he is check into the resort, and he is on the penthouse level.” She then looked over and said, “Hey Julius! Can you escort this young man to level the penthouse level?”

He looked at me and smiled. He was a tall, slender blonde haired guy in his late 20’s. Then he started to walk me to the elevator. We soon were both in the elevator. He inserted the key card, and the elevator soon started to work its way up. The elevator had a nice view of the city. Soon the elevator gave a ringing noise. I soon turned around, seeing the large room. Outside the room it had an infinity pool. The room was a light crimson red, with a black tile floor. I pondered around the room until I heard, “Colin? Is that you?”

>Nathan’s POV<

I heard the ring of the elevator spread through my room. I got up slowly, and walked out of the room slowly and silently. Then I my vision went a little blurry, and all my other senses went numb. Then I realized that that person was Colin. My voice was faint, saying, “Colin? Is that you?” He turned around, and suddenly my body fell from under me, and my vision had darkened.

>Colin’s POV<

I watched as Nathan collapsed. I quickly ran to him, seeing if he was okay. He didn’t respond so I checked his pulse, but there was no pulse. I became frightened. I soon picked up the phone and dialed 9-1-1.

“9-1-1. What is your emergency?” The voice said.

“Hello? My boyfriend has no pulse. We are on the penthouse of the Encore resort. Please come quick.” I responded frightened.
