Breakfast and training came and went, and it was about time for lunch. I ran down the stairs after my shower followed by Jonah. Both of us were running from an "angry" male that had been the victim of a prank. I was laughing and glancing backwards every so often, waiting for my mate to grab us.

"Easy there," someone said, catching me when I had ran into them. King Damon looked at me with an amused smile on his face. He was cautious with me, and I was sure that he thought I was going to attack him. "What are you running from?"

I looked behind me, smelling my mate's scent getting closer. Adrenaline filled my body, and all I wanted to do was run until I could run no more. "My mate," I said. "I might've... added purple dye to his shampoo bottle. Now, if you'll excuse me, I think it might be best if he doesn't catch me." I bowed my head in respect before, again, bolting into the kitchen to see Tabitha at the stove. I paused and watched as she cooked something that smelt like burnt eggs and cream. "Should I be worried?" I asked, not knowing why she was in the kitchen alone.

Tabitha jumped and turned to me, a spell on her tongue. She scowled and wagged the spoon that she was using at me. "Don't do that," she warned, narrowing her eyes at me. "I almost turned you into a toad."

I shrugged. "Whatcha cookin?"

"I am making something for you. Since you two had completed the bond... and you hadn't used a condom..."

"So, does that mean that I might be pregnant?" I asked. I looked at my stomach that was flat and toned right now. It was weird to think that in six months, a baby might pop out.

"Maybe," Tabitha replied. She turned back to the stove and said a couple of words that I couldn't understand. She flicked her wrist before turning around, grinning. "Here," she said, tossing me something. "Don't worry, if I wanted to kill you, I all ready would have."

I stared at the thing in my hand and saw it was a pill. It was purple with gold swirling against its dark purple background. "Should I be worried?" I asked, looking at the witch.

Tabitha shook her head. "Perseus thinks of you as family," she said. "It might be because you and Perry are in fact related."

I studied her before huffing. "Can't hurt as much as I had been in the past," I muttered, popping it into my mouth and dry swallowed it. I suffered as goosebumps appeared on my arms. "Wow, that is some powerful stuff, and I have no idea what it did."

"RYLAN! WHEN I CATCH YOU, YOU WILL NOT BE WALKING FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS!" I heard my mate yell throughout the house.

I widened my eyes out in shock, a wave of lust coming over me. I knew what he mant, but I would rather be walking in a few days. "Got to go," I said, and with that I ran outside and away from my "fuming" mate.

My feet pounded against the ground as I weaved between the trees. I had sent Jonah to play with Callie, because there was something in the air, and I didn't like it one bit.

The hair on the back of my neck stood up, and I could feel that someone was watching me, waiting for the right time to attack.

I knew that it wasn't Vulcan, and I knew that it wasn't his mate, even though I knew that she detested me. No, this was someone that needed to capture me. They needed me as leverage. However, I did not know who.

I stopped at a stream and lifted my head to smell a scent that I should know but didn't. My whole body was tense as I looked at the stream to see the Prince behind me.

Guilt filled the prince's eess, and I knew that he didn't want to what he was told to do.

However... I knew that he really wasn't the Prince. How I knew that, I did not know. I just knew that he wasn't.

'I love you,' I linked Cooper. 'I will see you in a week, at least. Promise.' I shut the link before he could comment and looked at the male behind me. "Do what you must," I said, praying to the Moon Goddess that I was making the right decision.

The non-Prince nodded his head, and everything went black.
