I moved a hand through my hair, nervous and worried. I had no idea where my mate was, and it had been a week since I had last seen her. I tried contacting her through our bond, but it felt as if something was blocking it. Something was wrong. I could feel it, and it didn't help that Liam had told me that she had linked him and told him to remember his promise.
"We can't just wait around," Gigi said. Dark circles were under her eyes, and I knew that it was because of the stress and the fact that her baby had came three weeks early. "I mean, we need her."
"I know," I said. "How is your son?"
Gigi smiled, sadly. "He's doing fine, right now." She moved a hand through her hair and sighed, shaking her head. She wanted to be with him but knew that trying to figure out what to do with Ry was more important for his future. "The nurses are taking care of him." She squeezed her mates hand, and I couldn't help but feel jealous.
I nodded my head, trying to stop the jealousy from showing. "Good," I replied. I looked at the faces in the room, minus Liam, Becca, and Tabitha because Becca and Liam had decided that it might be best to do an early c-section if someone decided to attack and tried to kill the baby. "So, we are going to have to come up with a plan."
"I have one, kill her," Meridia said, causing Vulcan to hiss at her. She raised an eyebrow. "What? If she is captured and has been turned, then there isn't any hope that she will be able to be turned back."
"And, that is what we are afraid of," Liam said, coming in with both Tabitha and Becca. He smiled grimly and cleared his throat. Liam looked around the room before looking at me. "Ry is a strong female, but if we can't get to her in time, then we don't have a choice to but to kill her."
"So, you don't think that there is a way to get her back?" I asked. I wasn't hopeful to say the least, but if Liam was, then maybe, just maybe there could be hope. If not, then we will need to find a way to stay alive until the next Red Wolf came to be.
Liam smiled sadly and shook his head. Defeat made it's way in his eyes, and I couldn't feel dread in my stomach. "I don't know what to do."
"I do," someone said from somewhere. And with that, everything went black.

I groaned when something was taken off of my face to see my mate standing next to Andrew. Fear and dread filled my system as I caught sight of the sneer on her face and her red eyes. "Ry?" I breathed out, praying that my beautiful mate was in there. "What did they do to you?"
"Showed me power and greed," she replied, her voice deeper and more feminine than I was used to, and if we were in a different position, then I was sure that it would have turned me on. She placed her hands on Andrew's shoulder and smiled at me, her white teeth flashing behind her red lips. "And, he has treated me like a queen. He's more of a man than you'll ever be."
That hurt more than words can describe. I knew that I had made a mistake, and for some reason, I couldn't remember as to why I had made it. I tried to treat her right when we got together, and I couldn't help but feel that I screwed it up when I marked her. However, that changed when she came into my room with lust filled eyes, and I made her mine in every way.
"You see, you have all failed to do what you wanted to do," Andrew said, pulling my gaze from her to him. He sneered when he caught me staring at her with hatred filled eyes. "Now, it is time to pay the price."
I growled and moved around in the arms of the person holding me. "I will kill you," I snarled, anger filling my body. I was a bit shocked and stunned that I couldn't get out of the grasp of the man holding me, and I was even more shocked when I couldn't contact my wolf.
"Cooper, calm down," Liam ordered. He glared at Andrew, and I could see tears in his eyes. That stopped me because I had never seen him look so defeated nor crying. I hadn't seen him cry when Ry first got captured, but I knew that it was because we all knew that she would somehow survive. But this time, this time was different.
I felt the fight leave me and would have fallen if it wasn't for the man behind me. I stared at them, tears in my eyes. For a moment, I thought I saw my mate's eyes soften before they turned hard again. "What are you going to do?" I asked, my voice shaking.
Andrew held out a sword to my mate. "I know how much you love blood, Darling," he sneered. "Chop off their heads and drink their blood. Let us rise Grandolf and make this world a better place."
Ry took the sword from them and stepped towards us while the others started chanting in some ancient language. Her whole body moved at the command that was placed on her and swayed as if she was walking to the rhythm of the command. However, all too soon, she stopped and turned to Andrew.
Andrew stopped chanting and looked at my mate. Fear filled his eyes when she took a step towards him, and I could hear his heart picking up speed. "What are you doing?" he asked, taking a step backwards. "Go, kill them," he ordered. He tripped over something and fell at my mates feet.
With one swipe of her blade, Ry had killed Andrew. She looked up as the people were still chanting before looking at someone. "Now!" she boomed before running towards someone.
I grunted when the person pushed me to the ground and covered me, taking away the sight of my mate. I had no idea how long I was like this, but when I was finally let up, I saw Ry kneeling down with her dress ripped into shreds. My mouth when dry when I saw deep cuts on her body, but she didn't seem to notice.
Her whole body was shaking for whatever reason, and she was staring at the woods. She paid no attention to me nor anything around me except for that one single spot. A smile graced her lips something ran out, and she ran to meet whatever it was.
I turned my head to look in that direction and saw a boy about six years old run over to her. They exchanged a few words before the boy ran over to probably his father that was standing over Liam.
At that moment, Ry looked at us and smirked, her gray eyes filled with mischief. "'Sup?" she asked as if she wasn't covered in blood and standing in a field of dead people.
What the fuck just happened?
