A/N: Ooh Jonah's going to get his own book too. He is going to be gay and has all ready met his Prince/Mate. *wiggles eyebrows.* We caught sight of him, the prince, once. I'm not revealing who it is. I want to see who can guess.

He stared at me, anger and fear filling his eyes. His blonde hair was a mess, and I could tell that he had been worried about me and had been running a hand through his hair because he was stressed. However, when he caught sight of me, the anger left him and was replaced with more worry. "Ry?" he asked, taking a step forward.

I shook my head, blinking back tears that I had been holding in, because I didn't want the people I had rescued to see me cry. I tossed the silver chains somewhere out of the way before running into the warm embrace of my mate.

"Hey," he cooed, holding me close to him. His warm body caused me to relax a bit as he rubbed my back. "What happened?" He didn't try to pull me away from him, and I knew that he needed my comfort as much as I needed his.

I nuzzled my face into his neck and took in his scent, trying to stop from myself from crying. All I wanted to do was cry, because the guilt was eating me alive. However, I knew that it would have to be after everything was settled.

"Ry, what happened?" Cooper asked, again. He pulled me back and placed his forehead against mine.

I closed my eyes and took a deep shuddering breath before I let him see what had happened while I was away from him.

Cooper took a deep, shuddering breath when I got to the part when I killed the Wolf and pulled me closer to him, letting me rest my head in his heart. 'How long do you think that he was like that?' he asked through our link. Pain filled his voice, and I knew that he was feeling the pain that I was feeling.

'Not long,' I replied, honestly. I shook my head and cleared my throat. 'I want to say a day at most.'

Cooper kissed the top of my head and rubbed my back, leaving sparks in it's place. 'It's not your fault,' he soothed. 'I know that you think it is, but it isn't. Death doesn't care if the person was a sinner or a saint, it'll take and take. It is just up to us to live a life worth telling. We can't control who lives, who dies, or who tells our story.'

'I know,' I replied. 'It's just that...' I grimaced and shook my head, getting my feelings in order. I pulled away from him and looked at the people that I did rescue. 'Should we take them back to our pack or should we go back to the pack we are staying right now?'

"Alpha Barker has set up some rooms for you all to get your strength back," Cooper said, looking at the people that I had saved. "For those of you that do have families and packs, you will be able to call them from there to let them know that you are in fact alive. Those that do not have packs can come talk with Rylan or I and we can find you a pack."

"Or, if you still choose to be a Rogue, we know of a Rogue group that will accept new people," I added, leaning into my mate's touch. "But, it is my suggestion that you come have the doctor check you all out before leaving. If you feel a bit comfortable with me in there, then I can come in if you want."

"But, won't you have... stuff to do?" T.J. asked. He glanced at my mate, and I could see the fear in his eyes. He looked at me, and I could tell that he was hesitant into trusting my mate. He didn't know if Cooper would like him because he was the one that was set up in my capture.

I shrugged. "I always have stuff to do," I replied. "But, I don't mind changing my plans to help those feel comfortable."

'Why is he looking me in fear?' Cooper asked, noticing the look.
