Chapter 4

Tina: "Here's your itinerary for the cruise. Just don't go Titanic over it okay?"

Conner: "Thanks Tina. I'll see you soon."

Tina: "Okay, be safe out there. Have fun!"

...I waved back at her. Its like waving at my mom. But I know joining the cruise would give me some peace. I needed some break and some time to think."

"GOOD AFTERNOON LADIES AND GENTLEMEN. WELCOME ABOARD TO THE VOYAGER! WE ARE ABOUT TO EMBARK ON OUR 25-DAY CRUISE TO THE PACIFIC IN 30 MINUTES. MAY WE REQUEST ALL PASSENGERS TO PLEASE PROCEED TO OUR MAIN UPPER DECK FOR OUR PASSENGER AND SAFETY BRIEFING. THANK YOU!"

..after finding my cabin on the lower deck, I had to freshen up and unpack. The announcement to join the briefing was mandatory to all passengers for their safety. It was good, as we met the captain and his officers. But I never expected that I would be surprised too."

Conner: "Excuse me, do you know the way to the upper deck?"

Old lady passenger: "Are you going to attend the briefing too?"

Conner: "Uhm yes."

Old lady passenger: "Oh good! I'm going too. I know the way. Come."

...she led me to the elevator. I assisted her on our way out and we both saw a vibrant upper deck. The sunset was just perfect and everyone was waiting for the Captain to arrive."

Old lady passenger: "Thank you dear. May I ask what is your name?"

Conner: "You're welcome. My name is Conner. Nice to meet you."

Old lady passenger: "Hello Conner, my name is Frances. I was supposed to be escorted by my nurse but I asked her not to. She said she will be coming up here once she's done unpacking on our cabin."

Conner: "Thats good."

Frances: "So are you cruising with someone?"

Conner: "Me? Nope. I'm alone. This is my break from work."

Frances: "Well, I remember my time when I was still on my working years. I was as strong as a bull! (laughs). We never had luxurious vacations, because we had to raise kids and pay the bills."

Conner: "Yeah I heard. It was tougher back then."

Frances: "Yes. And you deserve some break dear. Don't ruin that handsome face just because of stress. Have fun while you're young."

Conner: "Thank you."

...then her nurse arrived. She was a lady on her 30s while Frances could be on her 80s or 90s. Such a strong woman if you ask me."

Danny: "Wow. I wish I could afford a cruise too. It sounds fun!"

Conner: "Yeah"

Danny: "So how did this cruise became memorable to you?"

Conner: "While the briefing was going on, I had a glimpse of her. "

Danny: "Who?"

Conner: "Yassie?"

...I saw a woman wearing a white hat and a white dress. I wasn't sure if she was Yassie but I felt her presence there."

Frances: (whispers) "Are you alright dear?"

Conner: "Yes. I think I saw someone I know."

Frances: "She's a lady huh?"

Conner: "How did you know?"
