A/N: Whitney and Kelsi, you might cry. Just saying.
I cried while writing this.

I watched my mom walk around a some what empty store with a red cast on her right arm. I looked through the racks of clothes, knowing I wasn't going to buy anything. I never really buy anything for myself. I was to distracted to try and find anything any way.
Why did Harry tell me to go inside? What did they talk about while I was inside? Why did Matt just walk away like nothing happened?
Something's not right.
My mom snaps me out of my thoughts. "Do you like this?" she holds up a red shirt, and to be honest it was the ugliest thing I've ever seen.
I shake my head. She just laughs, and I do the same.
I don't know how long we stay in the same store, she keeps showing me ugly all of this ugly stuff, and I've thought about telling her I changed my mind about the red shirt, just to see if she'd buy it. With all of the pain killers she's on right now I don't doubt it.
My mom runs into one of her friends so I wander around until I make my way to Forever 21. I flip through the racks of shirts until I see an all to familiar blonde bun. Amanda.
I try to leave the store before she sees me, but just my luck, I don't know how I managed it but I bump into her.
She turns to look at me, she has a black eye and a bruised jaw. Jacob had his arm wrapped around her. I wish Jacob would have tried to hit me. "Sorry," I mumble before trying to walk away.
"Hey," she stops me. I grab the strap of my bag. "How's your mom?"
"She's um- she's good, she's actually here somewhere, I'm not really sure where though," I say.
"So you blow off my brother, to go shopping with your mom?" Jacob buts in.
"What are you talking about?" I ask.
He laughs. "He called you three times last night, and twice this morning," he says. "He was trying to apologize to you, you little bitch."
Amanda chews on her green Starbucks straw.
Will it ever end? I just roll my eyes and go to walk away but quickly change my mind, "I never got any messages from your brother."
He just laughs, "You were probably to busy blowing your new pimp or something."
I roll my eyes and bite the inside of my cheek, I really want to hit him right now, but I see my mom coming into the store.
"I gotta go," I say before turning on my heels, Amanda mouths a quick sorry to me before I leave.
I give her the best fake, sympathetic smile I can.
As mad as I am at her, she doesn't deserve to be treated like that, especially not by Jacob. I shiver at the thought of him hitting her. God I hate him.
Mom gives me a warm smile, "Did you find anything?"
I shake my head.
"Is that Amanda?" she asks looking back at where I was just standing.
I shake my head again, she doesn't need to see her like that.
She knows I'm lying, I can tell by the look on her face, but she just shrugs it off and walks towards another store.

We left the mall around 5:30, and something's wrong. Mom is acting weird, Harry won't answer my messages, Matt is still pissed. I just want someone to tell me what's going on. When we get back home Harry's car is out front, this isn't good. When I walk past his car, I see a lot of his stuff inside.
No.
I find Harry sitting in the living room, he looked pissed, but his face softened when his eyes met mine.
"I'm gonna go put this up stairs." mom says.
Harry lets out a breath when my mom disappears up the stairs. "What's wrong?" I ask him.
He motions for me to sit on the couch next to him. His arm is instantly around my shoulder, like it fit naturally. I lean my head on his shoulder. We just sit like that, he never answered my question. He sits back on the couch taking me with him. My head now on his chest.
My stomach was in knots, and I was terrified. After about 10 minutes of silence he starts talking. "Let's go outside," he whispers.
**
The cool air felt amazing, but it blew my hair everywhere, so I put it up in a pony tail. "What's going on Harry?" I ask. Even though I had a pretty good guess what was going on. Matt kicked him out so now he has to leave.
He stops walking and squeezes my hand "I have to leave."
My heart literally shattered.
I open my mouth to say something but I can't, think of anything to say.
"Your mom is letting me stay here tonight, but I'm leaving tomorrow afternoon," he says.
I couldn't really think, I couldn't say anything. I look down at my feet.
"Hey," he lifts my chin up with his finger, "I'm gonna come back, I don't know when, but I promise I'm gonna come back."
My tear filled eyes lock with his, before I wrap my arms around his neck. His hands rest in the middle of my back. "I'm so sorry," he whispers.
**
The next morning when I woke up, Harry wasn't in my room, but his jacket was on my dresser. Guessing he went into the guest room I walk down the hall and don't see him. I walk down stairs and find my mom in the kitchen.
"Where's Harry?" I ask her.
She looks back at me, "He left earlier."
"What do you mean he left earlier?" I somewhat laugh. "He said he didn't have to leave until this afternoon."
By the look on her face I know what she meant. Tears are already starting to build up in my eyes.
"He's gone Jess."
