LUCIFER POV
Uriel gasped, frantically moving pieces around.
"Checkmate" I finally saw the smug face of the person who had beat Uriel the chess MASTER at chess.
"Nari?" She looked up and grinned.
"After 10 minutes, I finally won!"
"Ten whole min-?" I was cut off by loud banging on the door. I opened the door.
"Heeyyyy Luke!" Meg hiccuped. "I brought some alcohol, but I drank it. Oops!" She giggled.
-/--Later during the party-\--
I had taken some shots and downed a beer or two, but I wasn't that drunk. I walked over to Balth
"Heyyyyy."
"Luce, you are drunk out of your mind. "
"Nahhh." I slurred. Balthazar scoffed.
"Lightweight." He took another sip of his alcoholic concoction. I noticed a pretty girl looking at me slightly sadly. A guy went over to her and started flirting with her. I feel a raging anger burn through my brain. She tried to make her way over to us, but then the gUY KISSED HER, OH HELLZ NAH.
I tried to go over to the pretty lady but Balthy stopped me.
"Luce no. I'll take care of it. "
He went over and pulled the guy off her, and started talking to him. Balthy wrapped his arm around her waist and gestured to them. For some reason I felt jealous.
Short chapter because I got tagged and wanted to post it quickly.
