I still couldn't believe my eyes. Leonardo DaVinci had a daughter! And his daughter was the Mona Lisa!

My jaw dropped and, after a few seconds of blankly staring, I felt two warm fingers under my chin, pushing my mouth shut. I looked to my right to see The Doctor holding back a laugh and I could feel the redness creep up my cheeks. Once I glanced at Jack to see him chuckling too, I couldn't hold it any longer and I burst out laughing.

When I finally regained my composure, I took The Doctor's elbow and pulled him away. I glanced back to see Leo and Jack hitting it off again, and turned back to The Doctor, whispering, "Is... Is Lisa, you know, the Lisa?" I hinted, hoping he'd understand.

The Doctor nodded. "Yeah, I figured it out the first time I came here, a few years ago for him, and saw that he had a daughter named Lisa who was exactly the right age at the time. Brilliant, isn't it? After all this time and you humans never figured it out," he chuckled, "bloody brilliant," he muttered with a smile, shaking his head.

I couldn't help but smile at the way he thought of us, like his adorable little children with our scribbly little drawings he would hang on the fridge. It was adorable.

I caught myself staring at his kind eyes for a moment too long, and I quickly looked around the room, searching for anything that could distract me.

An antique-looking clock caught my eye. It looked kind of like a prototype, and I remembered that Leonardo DaVinci had invented a better working, more precise clock, and I was thrilled to be able to see yet another one of his amazing inventions. This man was so amazing, so interesting, so well known in my time, and here I was, actually meeting him and talking to him! It hit me all over again just how lucky I was to have met The Doctor, in more ways than one. I gave him a sidelong glance and blushed when he smiled at me. I was so glad he came into my life. I'd known this man for a total of about three hours now, and he'd already completely changed everything I'd ever known about anything. And I loved him for it.
