*7pm* *Robert's POV*

"Sara, ready?"

"Yeah, Mom, drive!"

"So Robert, what's going on in life?"

"Eh, nothing. You?"

"Well, besides that great birthday present, nothing."

"Well, it's nice to hear you like the present."

"Of course I like the present, you gave it to me."

"Aww, this is sooo cute!" Mom squealed.

"Mom," I grunted.

"Fine, carry on. We're here, everyone out."

We walk to the ticket booth.

"So, what would you like to see today?" The ticket master asked.

"Umm, Sara?" Mom called.

"Three tickets to "Gerald"."

"Coming right. Here you go, Ma'am, enjoy the show."

We walk in and sprint through the halls until we fine,' A Dog's Purpose 7:10".

I held the door for Mom and Sara. I open the door, hearing others approaching. I see her.

"What're you doing here?" I hesitantly asked.

"To win you back."

"Like that's gonna happen.I'm with Sara now, better luck next time."

"Well, Robbie," Rita pats my head," you see here, you have no option."

"Rita, come on, you've missed a minute of the movie already!" Rita's dad yelled.

"Coming, Dad. Well, see you soon."

Rita walks up the steps to the last row in the back, and I run up the steps to Sara and Mom.

"Robert, what took so long?"

"Rita. She needed help with justifying something..."

"Okay, well, you missed ten minutes of the movie already."

"Well, that's okay, fill me in. So, what happened?"

" Well, a there's a city in Brazil and they're big on apples. They expect every apple to be perfect. But one day, a kid named Gerald, stumbles upon a unfamiliar looking apple. And he shows the apple farmers and turns out that every year, a citizen from Brazil gets a weird apple to symbolize their meaning to the town."

"Well, that sounds interesting."

"Yeah, and it's getting better."

"Just like this date."

"I know I make things better. Once...," Sara goes on and on, like her usual chatterbox self."

*3 hours later*

"Well, how did you guys like the movie?" Mom asked.

"It was cool." Sara chittered.

"Yeah, it was the best movie ever!"

"Robert, I need help with something, can you come over here?" Rita cried.

"Be right there."

"Robbie, are you sure everything is okay? You seem a bit- consumed."

"I'm fine. Rita just needs help with something-again."

"Well, don't be long, Dear. We have ice cream planned after this."

"I won't."

"Aww, Mrs. Allen, you don't have to take me to ice cream."

In the distance, Rita was 'in terrible need of help'."

"Rita! What do you need now?!"

"For you to say yes."

"To what exactly?"

"To my proposal of being my boyfriend."

"Do you not know what the meaning of 'being with Sara'?"

"I do, but let me on you a little seceret. I know that gift was fake, so you can listen to me, and suffer, or break her heart, and suffer even more."

"Fine, I'll end it tomorrow."

"Okay, fine. By the way, I've liked you since the beginning, Robert."

"Well, I did to. But now, I've seen the reality."

"Well, unsee this reality."

*Tomorrow*

"How did your date go with Robert?"

"He seemed a bit distracted, but it was fun."

"Well, him  being distracted isn't a good thing."

"Yeah, I've been trying to figure out why he's so distracted lately. But I honestly, I think it's because of Rita."

"Rita?! You saw her yesterday at the movies?!"

"Yeah, apparently."

"Well, that sucks."

"Not to scare you, Sara, but I have a feeling that he's going to break up with you soon."

"Laurel, that's not going to happen. Robert actually likes me."

"Well, this a different Robert."

*Robert' POV*

"Will, I have a crisis."

"Well, that's why I'm here, aren't I? What's the problem, Bro?"

"WIll, it's serious."

"What is it."

"Rita threaten to tell Sara the truth about the gift, if I don't go out with her."

"Dude, these are one of those times when you have to make a sacrifice for your loved ones. So if you love Sara, prove it by breaking up with her."

"Okay, so I'll have to--," I break out into sobs.

"Everything fine back there?" Mrs. Smoak hollers.

*Science* *Sara's POV*

"Diana, Ava, Emma, tell me this wrong, Laurel thinks Robert's gonna break up with me soon."

"Woah, rewind, tell us about your date," Diana advised.

"Well, to sum it up, he was pretty distracted by Rita, but it was fun, I guess."

"I guess?"

"Uhh."

"I think Laurel is right. Well, she may be wrong too, you'll never know," Ava assured.

"Yeah, I agree with Ava, I never figured out if Steve cheated on me or not."

"Well, we'll know in a few minutes, because he's coming our way," I chirped.

"Sara, we need to talk," Robert nervously stammered.
