"Here it comes," she mumbles to herself.
"Sara....You're a cool and funny girl, and I know we just started going out, but....," I grunt in frustration, "I'm breaking up with you."
I walk away with tears. I'm gonna lose Sara...again. I got to have another meeting with Will.
*Sara's POV*
"He did it."
"Poor, Sara," Ava sighs, while hugging me.
"What're you going to do now?" Diana wonders.
"I'm going to block him on everything! I'm not going to even mention his name in a sentence!"
"Wow, Sara. You must be really mad," Diana assured.
"Yeah, I'm mad. He seemed like he really mad. Turns out, he's some big jerk."
"Yeah, boys are idiots," Emma declared.
*The next day*
"I heard the news. Sara, are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine."
"So, how're you going to deal with this?"
"Easy, two words."
Laurel makes a face of confusion.
"Avoid and ignore."
"Ohh, makes sense. Sara, don't worry. Remember, friends are forever, boys are whatever."
"Thanks, Laurel."
*Robert's POV*
"Will--"
"How could you, man?! I thought you cared about her?"
"I do, I did what had to be done. I had no option."
"Yes you did, man! You could've been less 'distracted' and actually pay attention to the task at hand, and just let Rita tell Sara the truth. Either way, Sara would still hate you."
I put on a face of confusion.
"Get through to her. Actually, enjoy your date."
"Thanks, Will."
"Anytime, man."
*Science*
"Go talk to her, man!"
"What I'm suppose to say, Will?"
"Follow your heart."
"When did you become such a 'love expert'?"
"Classes. Now, go," Will says, while pushing me, towards Sara's group.
"Uh, Diana, Ava, I need to talk Sara."
"She's not interested," Ava insisted.
I peer under Diana's shoulder, to see Sara sadly doing work.
"You made her suffer."
"Yeah, and I'm sorry."
"Sorry isn't going to cut it, R!" Emma chirps.
"R?! Is that your guys' nickname for me now?!"
"Maybe..."
"Fine, E!"
"Shut up!"
"What's your problem?"
"No! It's you problem. With Sara."
I walk away with the fact that a girl burned me.
"Will--"
"What can I do for you?"
"I need to do something for Sara, that'll show her that I care."
"Well, Valentine's Day is coming!"
"Ooh, the dance--"
"What's wrong?"
"I just remembered. I go out with Rita now," I sigh in disgust.
"Dude, do you like Rita?"
"No."
"Then tell her that to her face."
"I did, it didn't work. Plus, she has a threat."
"So, who cares. Sometimes. taking risks for our loved ones is necessary."
"Wow, Will, I should come to you for advice often."
"Man, you come to me all the time for advice."
"Oh yeah."
*Sara's POV*
"How's it going with the whole-Robert-ignoring-thing?" Laurel nervously asks.
"Not so well, he keeps on spamming with texts, emails, and snaps. It's so annoying."
"I--"
"I don't understand the fact, if he broke up with me, then why is he spamming me with texts."
"Maybe, he wants to get back together?" Laurel suggests.
"No way."
"Yes way. Ava told me that R was begging for your forgiveness. See he one want a 'Robara reunion'. But who could be responsible for distracting R on your date?"
"OMG! No. Rita," I announce, with unpleasant sigh.
"Oh not again. She's always out to ruin your life."
"I know right. She never stops, until she gets what she wants."
*Robert's POV*
I wait outside near the cone area, waiting for Rita, assuming she got my text. Just as I thought, she shows up.
"I got your text, Robbie, what's it that you need to talk about?"
"Sara."
"Robbie--"
"No, Rita! I like Sara, there's nothing to stop me from caring about her!"
"Robbie, remember," Rita smirks, reminding me of 'that'."
"I don't care! You can do whatever you want," If firmly state.
Rita grunts in defeat, and walks away," I will get you back, Robbie! I will!"
I look ahead to see Sara. She's smiling her beautiful smile.
She comes running over," Robbie! You still care!"
"You're not mad?"
"Why would I be? After what I just saw and heard, this enough to make up for our 'foul' date."
"Really?"
"Yeah."
"So, Sara. You know how Valentine's Day is coming up , and the dance is...Friday. I was hoping-"
"Yes! I would love to go with the dance with you," she shrieks, while hugging me.
In the distance, Diana, Ava, and Emma sigh in awe.
"Fate brought them together," Ava confirms.
"No. Destiny did," Diana argues.
"Both of you are wrong."
Ava and Diana show faces in confusion.
"Love brought them together."
