Lydia's POV

It was difficult to get out of bed this morning, to say the least. I had tossed and turned all night due to the increase in temperature, being snuggled up next to Joe didn't help either.

My alarm shrieks next to me at the ungodly hour of 7, forcing me to drag myself out of bed and through the shower.

The warm water flows down my back as I stare down at my belly. My belly, home to twins, that grows larger each day. My thoughts are interrupted by a quiet knocking.

"Lyds," Joe's voice floats through the bathroom door. "Are you nearly done, love? It's almost time for breakfast."

I switch the shower off as he's talking wrap myself in a towel before opening the door, coming face to face with him. I grin slightly before pushing past and grabbing an outfit out. Since we're not only going out for breakfast but also going to day one of Vidcon, I try choose something a little fancier. This ends up being a knee-length, striped, body con dress, which shows off my small baby bump. Just as I'm slipping my sandals over my slightly swollen feet, Joe walks out of the shower with just a pair of shorts on.

"How did I get so lucky?" I say, eyeing his bare torso and walking over towards him. He pulls me closer, hands on my hips. My hands automatically go towards his neck, pulling his mouth toward mine. Our lips meet in the middle, moving in sync.

"I think the question is, how did I get so lucky?" He says, pulling away. I shrug slightly.

"I guess that is the right question. You did end up with me," I smirk as he glares playfully at me.

"C'mon smart-ass, let's go get some food."

A table sits in the middle of the room when we arrive, 5 other YouTubers surround it. I place myself down in an empty seat next to Zoe and Joe sits next to me. My eyes drift round the circle. There's a few people I'd seen on YouTube before but never met in person, including Troye Sivan and Connor Franta. It's intimidating being in the presence of such popular YouTubers and I can't help my get nervous. Joe must noticed a change because he places a hand on my thigh in comfort.

"You alright, love?" He whispers.

"Yeah, just a couple of people I don't know, all these big YouTubers, it's a bit nerve-wracking."

"Do you want me to introduce you?"

"Uhh... yes please," At this, he taps Connor, who's sitting next to him talking to Troye, on the shoulder.

"Hey Con, can I introduce you guys to someone?" He turns around smiling.

"Sure."

"This," He gestures to me. "Is my amazing girl friend, Lydia. Lydia, this is Connor and Troye."

"Oh, I know you!" Troye exclaims, his Australian accent thick. "I saw Joe's video of you two together and then couldn't stop watching yours. Congratulations on the babies!" I feel my cheeks heat up.

"Thank you."

"How far along are you now?" He asks.

"Almost three months. It's going by really fast, which is scary because in half a year I'm gonna be a mum to two kids."

"Exciting though, right?"

"It wasn't at first, it was basically a giant shock to the system. I'm 18 and gonna be a mum, you know?" They both nod and I continue. "But in the recent weeks it's gotten to be very exciting. I'm going for a scan when we get back and hopefully I can find out the gender."

"Have you guys discussed names yet?" Connor asks.

"Not yet," Joe answers before I can. "I think we're going to wait to see what we're having first."

"That makes sense. You have to do a gender reveal when you find out!" I chuckle to myself at Troye's enthusiasm.

"I think we will. On my channel, at least," I answer.

The rest of the meal is eaten in peace, and soon enough it's time to head down to the VidCon hall. (Yes they all of a sudden have food and no I have no idea how Vidcon works.)

The day goes by super fast. It was all very surreal, and people were extremely kind. I got a few judging looks, as expected. It was my very first time appearing in front of a proper crowd pregnant, but most people were extremely kind.

I also met and made a lot of new YouTuber friends, and I got a lot closer with Connor and Troye.

By the time VidCon day one has finished, my nerves are a lot more calm. I'm still nervous for the next few days, but after making friends with almost everyone I'm not as stressed.

To end the day off, a group of us decide to head into town. Although I don't buy anything, it's nice to be able to just talk to everyone.

It's about 9pm by the time we decide to head back to the hotel. I'm tired and worn out but I'm left in a much better mood than I had been.

"Today was a good day," I whisper to Joe as he slides into bed next to me.

"It was, I'm glad you had a good day, love," I look over at him lying there next to me, blonde hair sweeping across his forehead, eyes bluer than the sky on a good day, and I get a sudden urge to kiss him. I lean in slightly and he seems to get my vibe. He closes the gap between us, pulling me close. My hands roam his body as the kiss quickly gets heated. We always end up stopping, for the fear of hurting the babies, but neither of us can find the will to stop tonight. (Warning could get dirty but idk) I throw my leg over top of him so I'm straddling him. His hands slowly make their way down my back to my bum and he rests them there. I softly grind against him, making him moan quietly. I smirk into the kiss, flicking my tongue against his.

He pushes against me, breaking the kiss.

"Lydia, I have a serious question for you," I nod softly and he continues. "Will you, uh, will you move in with me?" I sit up properly, shocked at this but also kind of excited.

"Don't you think it's too early?" I ask, although my entirety wants to say yes.

"Well, I thought it might be good. That way the babies will have two parents who live together. You don't have to say yes but..." I cut him off there.

"Of course I'll move in with you Joe," I kiss him softly on the lips once more.

I updated wtf????? I'm not gonna promise I'm going to be constantly updating but I'm going to try my hardest to update at least once a week

Sorry for the fact that it's probably been almost a year since I updated. Zero motivation, as well as high school n stuff
