Lydia's P.O.V

I've officially lived in my apartment for three days. Monday I moved in, Tuesday I spent unpacking, Wednesday I filmed and edited a best friend tag with Zoe. Today is Thursday and Zoe and I are taking a girl day to the mall.

My alarm goes off at 9:30am, which gives me half an hour to get to the mall. I skip showering because I cleaned and curled my hair yesterday. For my outfit, I throw a pair of black jeans and a pale pink sweater, all paired with my black booties. It takes me up until 9:51am to get dressed and put my makeup on, so by the time I'm done it's time to leave. I grab my purse and car keys off the kitchen counter, as well as my phone and lip balm.

The drive doesn't take very long and I'm at Starbucks by 10:02am. I order myself a caramel macchiato and purchase a cinnamon roll, because I missed breakfast, and sit down at a table off to the side. After about five minutes of sitting there, a girl comes up to me.

"Hey, are you Lydia from YouTube?" She asks, quietly. She's clearly nervous.

"That I am!" I say with enthusiasm.

"Can I get a picture with you?"

Nodding, I say, "Of course!" I stand up and get a lady to take the photo for us. "What's your twitter? I'll follow you when I get home?" I ask the girl. She gives her twitter and I hug her before she walks away. Zoe comes in about two minutes after she leaves. My coffee is half finished by this time and I've hardly touched my cinnamon roll. Zoe orders her coffee and buys a blueberry muffin before sitting down across from me.

"Morning, Sugg, a bit late, aren't we?" I say, teasing her.

"Nala puked inside and Alfie was still asleep," Zoe says, rolling her eyes.

"Typical Alfie," I say, and she laughs. "Speaking of Alfie, how are you guys?"

"We're going alright, it's coming up our four years next month and I'm hoping he does something special."

"Maybe he'll propose!" I say, giggling with Zoe.

"Anyway, what about you? D'you have a special man in your life yet?" She says with a smirk.

"You know if I did I would tell you straight away, so no, I'm still single."

"No special man then? Oh well, you're only eighteen, you'll find someone." This would be the perfect opportunity to tell her about my crush on Joe. But as usual, I chicken out and change the subject.

"It's your birthday in two weeks ay? Do you have anything planned yet?"

"Nothing yet," She says. "I think we were thinking about going out dancing, to a club or something. Inviting closest friends, only a few people."

"That sounds like an amazing idea. I'll help you plan if you want?"

"That would be amazing, thank you."

It's now 10:33am. I look down our empty plates and cups.

"Should we go look at some shops and spend too much money?" I question. Zoe nods and I stand up, pushing in my chair and heading out the door.

The first store we go to is H&M. I don't buy much from there, just a new pair of jeans. From there we go to many different stores, such as Zara, Cotton On, Ikea, because and need stuff for my apartment, and many other shops in which I spent way too much money in. By the time it's lunch we've visited over 10 different stores and my shopping cart is full.

At about 12:40pm, we head to the food court to pick up some food. After eating, I take all my stuff out to my car before going inside to continue shopping.

The next shop we go to is a cute local book shop, where I purchase a cute floral journal for YouTube and a new set of gel pens. What, I like my things to be cute and colourful.

For the next few hours Zoe and I continue walking around the shopping mall, buying things that we don't need and spending all our money. By the end of the second half of the day, I have ten more bags, as well as all my bags and things in my car. It would be fair to say I spent over two hundred dollars all together. At 3:37pm, Zoe and I start walking back to our cars. When we arrive at my car I turn to her.

"Thank you so much for today, I spent way too much money but had so much fun. I definitely needed a day alone with my best friend. It's stressful moving."

"I know! When Alfie and I moved I was so stressed I had to have a spa day! That was amazing!" I grin and pull her into a hug.

"Text me later, we can hang out later on in the week," I say as I unlock my car.

"Will do, see you later." Zoe walks off in the direction of her car as I climb into mine. I pull out of the carpark and head in the direction of my apartment building.

The first thing I do after carrying all my bags inside is turn on my heat pump. It's a lot colder than I thought it would be at 4pm. The next thing I do is set up my camera. My plan is to film a haul video of everything I bought for my next weeks' video. I put all my bags at the end of my bed and sit down. The video takes about 30 minutes to fully film, and by the end, I regret buying a lot of the stuff because my bank account will now be empty.

The rest of the night consists of editing my video, having tea and watching way too much Vampire Diaries. By 11:35pm I'm crashed out asleep in bed.
