Below them splashed pyra and Seamus.
Pyra was swimming and playing with an extraordinary amount of energy. She was still in her white hospital gown. Seamus was soked head to toe and so was she, they laughed and ran through the water together. Pyra snorted with laughter here and there Seamus sounded like a donkey braeing. The quirky pair pushed and shoved each other, they threw sand and mud at one another to where they both were sandy soaked messes, but neither of them seemed to care. And at that moment no one else mattered.
Draco and Hermione looked out onto the water from above. When Hermione looked under the dock to see pyra running and playing she called out.
" pyra are you alright? Are you sure you should be running?"
" yes, I just needed to cool off is all, my body was over heated after being covered in those things, its perfectly normal!" Pyra yelled up to Hermione.
"Pyra noting about you is normal." Seamus laughed.
"Why you little." Pyra began to chase him down laughing the whole way. Draco smirked.
" I still can't believe im friends with a dragon girl, a fire horse, and a mud blood. If my parents knew about this." Draco said stairing off into the distance.
" don't forget the part where you were a werewolf." Hermione laughed. Draco didnt move. " hey relax your parents will never know and besides were much better then your old lousy freinds anyway right?" She said reassuringly.
" damn right about that granger."
" why did you hang out with those lot anyway?" Hermione said lifting her head off his shoulder, she smelled of rosewater.
" I don't know, they were who my parents said were powerful families so I just figured id be on good turms with them." He said facing her tilting his jaw.
" you know theres more important things in this world then money, and power Draco Malfoy." She said coming closer. He like the way his name sounded on her tongue.
"Like what?" He smiled.
And with that there lips collided. It was the first kiss for the both of them. So I wasn't exactly perfect but it was a kiss non the less. And draco felt the warmth of hermiones body against his, he felt this tingling sensation from his toes to his toungue. The two of them sat there gently swaying back and forth. Draco rapped a hand around Hermione, There lips interlocked. he finally had someone that he could say he chaired about and somek he knew for the first time in his life cared for him back. Draco wanted to stay in that moment forever. Just the two of them for all eternity.
Their was a whistle from below them.
" woooo hoo wait ta go draco! Get it boy!" Seamus called from the lake as he stood in the water looking at them waving.
Hermione pulled away and blushed. 'Dammit Seamus, again' Draco thought.
" Seamus I'm sure they don't want you being a pervert, you just ruined a moment for them." Pyra said dragging Seamus under the dock to give draco and Hermione some privacy.
" I wasn't being a pervert." Seamus said defensively.
"Yes you were." Both draco and Hermione replied at the same time. Both of them giggled. Draco had never felt happier in his life. He couldn't contain his excitement, he wanted to run to jump. He felt so compulsive. And in that moment he decided to run off the edge of the dock. Landing with a huge splash. Hermione looked down at him and smiled as he pushed his blonde hair out of his face. She thought about it for a moment after all it was a 15 foot drop, she shrugged and hoped off the edge. The silvery sheet grew closer and closer till finally SPLASH.
"Oh how nice of you to join the party." Pyra said to Hermione as she swam around her.
" you've made a remarkable recovery!" Hermione said swimming over to where it wasn't so deep.
" like I said before I just needed to cool off, my body had overheated cause it was overworking itself. Im sure when I get out of the water I'll probably go back to feeling like absolute shit, bit for now I feel great." Pyra said. " and with all that heating up you two were doing you probably needed a cool down too." She smirked. Draco splashed her by surprise causing her to tumble under the cold water. She retaliated with a bigger that made Draco's hair spike up all over the place.
Soon after everyone had joined in the splash fight. The water shone as it cascaded all around them. They stayed out late into the night, splashing, joking, and playinmg.
