The door to the clubhouse creaked open, Seamus perked his head up. He had day dreamed of this moment. The day pyra would return game in her arms, smiling at the sight of him. The door opened, but no one walked in, the wind had just blown it open. Draco slept in his room, and Hermione read in hers. Seamus sat on the couch lazilly throwing a quaffle in the air. His stohmich growled.
That's when there was a light tap on the door.
Seamus didnt even look up, there was no reason. Just the world taunting him, and his loneliness. The door creaked open once more, a rush of sweet smoke mixed with coconut hit Seamus's nostrils his eyes grew wide as he sprang from his seat.
in walked pyra. A deer hung over her shoulder. Her long ombre hair waved down from her face, her eyes flashed their golden light when she caught site of him.
Before either one of them knew it Seamus was hugging pyra so tight that she thought she might pop. Seamus had never been the best with self control and no matter how hard he tried he couldn't hide his excitement.
" Hermione! Draco! She's back she's really back." Seamus screamed into the house. Suddenly he became all to aware of the fact that this was pyra, and that he was hugging her for longer then 10 seconds and it was starting to get weird. His face turned red and he looked off somewhere else.
Draco poked his head out next
" pyra is that really you?" Draco said walking over to her. She nodded her head smiling. Not one for physical contact, draco gave pyra a quick hug, and before she knew it Hermione had practically tackled her to the ground. Seamus had already ran off to the kitchen with the deer. Pyra couldn't have been happier, she looked down to the suit case in her hand and then remembered.
" oh Hermione you have some uhh visitors." She said pulling up two boys onto the clubhouse deck. One tall with spiky black hair and piercing green eyes hidden under round glasses. The other a stockyier boy, with large front teeth.
" HHHHHAAAAAARRRRRYYYYY!!!!!" Hermione was over the moon, she squeezed him tightly. " annnnd Neville, its so nice to see you both oh I missed you so much, oh please stay for dinner were having veal, and Seamus is an outstanding cook." Hermione was giddy and patted Neville on the head instead of giving him a squeeze like harry. A look of worry crossed Hermione's face. " wait, why are you here? How are you here? Pyra why did you bring them here?!" Her giddyness had quickly turned to anger.
" they just wanted to make sure you were ok, I tried to lie to them but somehow Neville over here could see through it." Pyra said collapsing onto the couch, side eyeing Neville. Hermione seemed satisfied witgh that answer, picked up her case and headed back to her room, harry tagging along like a duckling to its mother. Draco had high tailed it back to his room as soon as he heard the word visitors. Neville went to see Seamus, and soon the tree house was filled with the smell of lunch.
And Hermione like always was right, Seamus was an out standing cook. The smell soon led draco out of his room.
Pyra looked to him and shot him a look of warning, and mouthed. " Harry's here."
Draco's pale eye got real big, he hated social interaction just as much as she did, he and harry never did get on that well. Hermione and Seamus had always been such social butterfly's while they were Wallflower's growing in the sidewalk trying to find the sun. Draco tilted his head towards the door, and outside they snuck.Harry hard been worried sick about Hermione. They had really drifted apart over the past month, ever since the day where she left hagrids hut. There was so much to catch up on, and even though they hadn't seen each other in awhile they reconnected right away. They were best friends again and as such they promised never to lie to one another.
"How's ginny?" Hermione said folding her robes and putting them into an old dresser.
" good as always." Harry sat on the foot of her bed, cleaning off his glasses. It was obvious there was something else he wanted to say, he just couldn't find the right words. So he decided to be blunt. " hey are you and draco a thing?"
"Wha I.." Hermione stuttered, panicking.
" the truth?" Harry said raising an eyebrow. Hermione looked at him her cheeks full of air till finally she exchailed.
" yeah, he's actually super sweet once you get past the whole I'm telling my father about this part of him." She said turning away and smiling to herself.
" huh, I still say he's a huge jerk, that belongs in azkaban. But I trust your judge in character. "Draco was happy to be out side he hadn't gone out in weeks. All he did was sleep all day and do school work, in his bedroom. Pyra seemed happy to be out side too in the forest where she felt most at home. The leaves seemed to dance around as they fell, and the sun poked through in golden streams. Their bare feet sunk into the forest floor, pyra pressed a hand up to her lips and turned around to draco who gave a slight nod. They didnt want to spook NY animals that may be close bye. Secretly they both enjoyed the silence far better then conversation, they could here natures song, and truely enjoy their surroundings. A wild boar lay ahead, pyra burst into a purple flame and before the boar knew anybetter it had been caught by a dragon. Draco moved his blonde hair out of his face and tilted his head towards her, secretly he was amazed, But never in a thousand years would he say so.
Pyra shrunk back down and they both sat by the river side finally being able to relax.*I'm sorry if bits don't make sense in this part, one of my chapters I accidentally deleted.
