All seemed right with the world, that night draco did his best not to look up at the moon, he had been trying to for the past several weeks, but now. Now he was starting to feel the pain creep back up into his spine. He began to ache, the was the forboading of his transformation, and no plans had been set forth for when this happens again. Not that he was aware of anyway. They would have to go see dumbledoor. He knew it and how he dreaded it so very much. Hermione appeared through the doorway. His heart lifted a bit and a surge of energy event through his body. He smiled warmly at her, but when he tried to sit up the pain got to him and pulled him back down. Hermione rushed over and began to pet his forehead tentivily.
" We need to get you to the shrieking shack, tonight." Hermione said sternly.
" the shrieking shack why in the bloody hell would we go there?" Draco growled, the last thing he wanted to do was go to some run down shack in the middle of no where, without medical attention.
" what I need is some damn wolefsbain potion, and to be locked in a safe room. Until tommrow morning. " draco said pushing Hermione's hand away.
" why do you think Dumbledoor gave you this room then huh?" Hermione said slightly offended. " I can try to whip up some wolfsbain but its a very delacite process and half the ingredients are illegal draco. " Hermione flailed her arms angrily.
" Seamus could get you some stuff I bet, or harry." He said through gritted teeth.
"But harry can't know about all this can he now? Didnt think of that one now did you?" She said frustrated.
" piss off mudd blood. "
"UUUHHHGGG. No wonder they put you in this insane asylum, with that rest of these nutter's! Have fun in your padded cell, you psychopath!" Hermione screeched as she stormed out. Moments later she popped her head back in his doorframe just to say. " you push away anyone that cares about you. Did you know that?"
If only she knew the pain that he was feeling, if only he could tell her that's not him talking, its the transformation and adrenilline talking. Not him. He wanted to tell her he loved her, and kiss her and hold her but all he could do was yell at her.
Just like when they were younger. The only reason draco ever picked on harry was because he was gelous of all the attention he got, especially from Hermione. He shifted his eyes back up to the ceiling, feeling like he was floating on a sinking ship, and there was nothing he could doOut raged the smartest witch of her age stomped off into the woods. Forgetting to tell harry where she had gone. He was still mystified by the fact his broom had gone missing ages ago, and she didnt have the heart to tell him what really happened. He just so happened to catch her on the way out.
" Mione? Where are you going?" Harry called down to her pushing his glasses back up his nose.
" ohh just for a walk I need to um blow off some steam." She said nervously.
" mind if I come with you?" Harry said climbing down. She bit her lip and turned away that was the last thing she needed, but she couldn't say no.
" sure."she patted her leg to hurry him up like one would with a dog. He trotted along to be beside her and quietly they walked. Talking in the world, Hermione trying to find an excuse to go back to the castle.
" I heard some yelling is everything alright?" Harry said as they walked. Hermione wasn't paying much attention to what was going on. " hmm?" He pressed. She looked up at him with her big doe eyes, they filled with tears. She hung to Harry's shoulder.
" no." She said quietly. He patted her on the back.
" you wanna talk about it?"
" no."
Harry shrugged. The two kept walking, for awhile the red in Hermione's face faded, and the tears dried. Harry talked about his scar hurting and weird dreams he'd been having, how He was often having seizure's. She listened. But the subject eventually cane back around to, summer. The birds whistled above them.
" I can't stay here for much longer harry, there's no way in hell I'm spending my summer here. I love draco but staying with him and dealing with that, and not going to see my family, or the city. Or even make it out of these damned woods." She kicked a twig with her leather brown boots.
" yeah." Harry said. "I wouldn't mind staying here at all, anywhere better then the dursleys. And the tree house is nice enough." He looked off ahead, they had gotten a lot closer to the school.
" I guess that's true. Draco's just being such a pain right now." She clenched her fist.
" hasn't he always been?" Harry laughed, she smiled.
"More then usual."
A branch broke ahead of them. They both perked there heads up, harry pulled out his wand. Hermione did the same.
" who's there." She called. A face emerged from the trees ahead, a warm smile cast upon his wrinkled face.
" hello children." Dumbledoor said just as surprised to see them as they were to see him.
" headmaster why are you all the way out here, on a school day no less?" Hermione said almost sounding like she was reprimanding him.
" to see you actually, iv brought you a bit of potion." He took out brown draw string bag from his blue robes and handed it to Hermione. " it should help change someone's attitude, I'm sure there a spot anxious for what's, coming up. " he chose his words very carefully, tapping his nose lightly with his wand. Hermione looked in the bag and read the label on the vile, then quickly closed it once more.
" oh thank you thank you, headmasters this is just want he needs." She squealed.
" don't thank me, proffeser shapes the one who brewed it, infact that should be more on the way soon. We won't cut it so close next time." The headmaster winked. " hello Harry." And with that he was off back towards the castle. Harry stood there extremely confused, he felt as if they were speaking Spanish.
" what was that all about?"
