Angel POV

I lay my head on the car door so the wind can blow through my hair, As Hakeem drove down the streets of New York city. I thought about how everyone would react when we return. I know mom and our brothers would be happy to see us, But with dad it might be a different story. My thoughts were interrupted with Hakeem putting his hand on my thigh. I smiled at him

Me: You're not even a little worried about what dads going to do when we show up?

Hakeem: *laughs* hell nah...The worse dad could possibly do is try to shoot me, But we both know he's not going to

Hakeem pulls into Empire parking lot and got out. We walked into the building hand in hand. Becky got up shocked and happy at the same time and hugged the both of us.

Becky: where have you two been? It's been long time since I've seen you two *smiles*

Me: Long story short we just been under the radar *smiles*

Hakeem: Hey dads in a meeting?

Becky: Yeah why?

Hakeem: I'm goin to end it *Walks off taking my hand*

I noticed Hakeem had a look in his eyes as we're walking to the meeting room

Me: You're going to do some crazy sh** aren't you?

Hakeem: *Smiles* Maybe

We walked into the meeting room. Dad, Mom, Jamal,Andre and the executives were talking. Hakeem let go of my hand and hopped on the table. At this point I think my brother lost all of his marbles, Because I think he forgot where the hell we were. Dad looked at Hakeem with amusement. Mom, Jamal, & Andre looked as Hakeem begin to talk.

Hakeem: Just for some of y'all that don't know, Yeah I left Empire. And no I wasn't fired. *walks around* I had to take a little vacation from here. Me and my sister came back, Because we love our family...Even if one of them doesn't agree with some of our choices *looks at Luscious*

I saw mom and Jamal smiling. Andre nodded his head. Dad excused the executives so we all can talk. I looked at Hakeem.

Me: please get down

Hakeem: *Laughs and jumps down*

Cookie: *runs up to us and hugs us both* I missed you 2 soo much

Me: I missed you too mama

Jamal ran up and hugged me and spinned me around

Jamal: I missed you *Laughing*

Me: I missed you too *smiles*

Hakeem: What didn't miss me?

Jamal: *jokes* no...Of course I did

Hakeem and Jamal laughed and hugged. I hugged Andre.

Andre: I missed you little sis *messes up my hair & laughs*

Me: Really that's what you do to me when I just got back *fixes my hair*

Andre: *Laughs*

Luscious walked up to us and Hakeem grabbed my hand

Luscious: Relax... I'm not going to do anything to you two.

Cookie: I know you not going to do nothing since it was your fault they left in the first place

Me and Hakeem looked at our dad, Because he knew she was right

Luscious: I won't argue with you on that one Cookie...And with that being said I would like to apologize to you both Keem and Ang. And I do accept that you two are in love

I looked at Hakeem and smiled

Me: I forgive you dad *hugs him*

Luscious: *kisses the top of my head* Keem, Do you accept my apology? *Looks at him

Hakeem: I'll accept it for now *Looks at him*

Cookie: Well I'm just glad you both are home...and we're having dinner at my place tonight

well that reunion was crazy
