---- Melony's POV ----

*** 2 Days Later ***

I was at home alone in L.A. Harry was out rehearsing and I'm trying not to think about what Keith told me recently. I mean, Nick?! Nick my best friend loves me?! I guess I saw signs that he did. I could tell that he wasn't happy when he saw me with Harry or when I would talk about him. He did once try to hold my hand, but, yeah. And it's not like I'm gonna drop everything and go to him over Harry! Harry is the only person in the world that makes me feel like, how he makes me feel! I do even have words to express my love for him and for how much he loves me and treats me like everything! I love him and no one and nothing is going to change my mind!

I was making lunch for myself, until I got a call from Harry. I answered it, and said:

"Hey babe!"

"Hi sweetheart! What are you up to?" He said

"Well, I was planning to rob a bank and then go out for dinner at Red Lobster," I joke, and he laughs that adorable laugh of his!

"No, I'm actually doing nothing" I admit

"Well the boys and I are rehearsing with the 5 Seconds of Summer boys and they would really like to see you! Is it alright if you come down for a bit?"

"Of course! I'd love to see them too! I'll be there in twenty minutes"

"Okay, see you then! I love you"

"I love you too"

"Bye"

"Bye" I say and hang up.

I changed into a black spaghetti strap tank, sleeveless denim vest, black jeans, black flip flops and put my hair into a bun. On the way to see all of them, I went into Starbucks. I walked up to the cash and the girls that worked there were pointing at me whispering saying "Look! It's Melony, Harry's girlfriend!"

Shit! My ring! I'm wearing my engagement ring! And I can't take it off because they'll notice! Okay! I'll just put my hand in my pocket!

"Excuse me," I say and they all walk towards me "Can I order?"

"Oh of course! What would you like?" One of the girls asks, and I tell them what I would like and the other girls run over to the machine and get it for me.

"That will be five ninety - five please"

Oh god! My right hand is holding my frappe and I only have my left hand free! Okay it's fine! It's fine! Maybe she won't notice!

I take out my money with my left hand and hand the money to her.

"Hey!" She says. Shit. "Did Harry purpose?!"

"Oh uh, no! It's just on the wrong finger! Haha, I didn't even notice!" I say, trying to cover up. But I'm a pretty bad liar.

I can't let anyone find out about the engagement! I know, I know! When are you going to tell everyone?! Well, I'm not going to tell some girl at Starbucks today! I'll let it out with Harry to the publicity or something or at some event! And hopefully that's soon because I'm left handed and I can't hide my left hand forever!

I walked into the studio where the boys were and where the 5 Seconds of Summer boys were recording. I opened the door and Luke recording his solo. I made sure I was quiet, but then Louis ran up to me and yelled "Look! It's the bride-to-be!" I laughed and hugged him back. Everyone else came to me and hugged me, and the I hugged Harry and he said:

"Hey babe! I missed you!"

"I missed you too!" I say and we kiss.

This is the sixth time I've seen the 5 Seconds of Summer boys and I absolutely adore them as they adore me! But I'm especially close to Ashton, as I am with Louis. I don't know why, I just seem more connected with those two. Maybe it's because Ashton's such a sweetheart and Louis' kind of like me, almost like he's my brother! Anyways, they're all like my new family because I love them to death!

"What song are you working on?" I ask Calum.

"We're working on Lost Boy!" He said and I know it's one of his favourites!

"Cool! How long have you been recording today?"

"'Bout, five hours"

"Wow! Must be doing good then!"

Luke was sounding amazing while he was recording! Just incredible!

The rest of the day we went to an amusement park and went on a bunch of rides. But when Harry and I got back to our apartment, I went on my laptop and I saw that I was tagged in millions of tweets, such as:

" OH MY GOD!!!!! @Harry_Styles purposed to @Melony_Bridges 😱 Look at this picture! "

And there was a picture of me getting my frappe at Starbucks, handing my money to the girl at the cash. Then I searched on Google:

And the first thing that came up was:

So now everybody knows. I knew it was gonna come out really soon but I wasn't ready for it to come out today!

I was laying in bed with my laptop on my lap and then Harry climbed in beside me and looked at the laptop.

"What's that?" He asked.

I looked at him and said:

"My engagement ring. When I went to Starbucks, I forgot that I had it on and someone must've taken a picture"

"Oh. It's fine, don't worry. They were gonna find out eventually!" He says and kisses me on the cheek. "Goodnight sweetheart" he shuts the lights out and then we cuddle in bed. Until, I got a call from Keith.
