Serena's POV

The last thing I remember is coming home to my apartment in NYC and going to sleep after a long day at work.

I wake up in a cave- no, a cavern. There is a band around my arm with a keypad. The band is unlocked and seems to be attached to a wall. I'm a bit hazy and I have no idea where I am. This place is dark except for a faint glimmer of moon through the cracks in the rock. This is a dream. I think to myself. This is a dream. I sit up and look around me. I nearly have a heart attack when I spot a girl with glittery purple hair and intense eyeliner. "Oh my god" I gasp, "you scared me. Who are you?"

The girl looks confused. " What is god?" She asks. I stare at her, confused. She stares back. This is weird, I think to myself. This is a really weird dream. Yet this is the most real I've ever felt in a dream before. Another girl emerged from the darkness. She had black hair and carried a large book. "God is a religious figure I created to give the humans something to believe in." She explains. The purple-haired girl nods and I'm still utterly confused sitting on the floor of the cavern with an unlocked shackle on my wrist. The black-haired girl says: " I'm Nora and this is Drea." The girl with the purple hair gives a slight wave of her fingers. " and according to this book," she continued, " your name is Serena Landers." I stare at her inquiringly. "What is that book?" I ask.

"It's a book with all of the human's information and their passwords."

Yeah, that really cleared things up.

"What are you talking about?" I ask.

Nora and Drea led me out of the room into a giant chamber. Drea opened the door and inside were billions and billions of people, all asleep chained to a wall with a shackle on their wrists.

I don't think I'm in NYC anymore.
